Those are the results of a survey of delegates who voted in the 2008 caucuses in Nevada, taken by Straetgic national earlier this month. It's a relatively small sample -- 350 -- but the results, at right, are interesting.

  1. Donald Trump, the new King of the Birthers.

  2. Mit Romney is trustworthy (as much as a politician can be) and smart. He is much more honorable and diplomatic than the Donald could ever be. Trump is truly starting to believe his own BS and that is the beginning of the end my friends.

  3. Romney's very diplomatic... he's held both sides of almost every current issue.

    He's a professional flip-flopper.

  4. When they whittle down the field we will see the intentions of the Republicans. Trump is seeking (and getting) a lot of media attention and free publicity. He can't do an interview without mentioning his #1 NBC show and now he's got me doing it too. He will fall by the wayside and become yesterdays news when the time comes for primaries. The Republicans will have to decide if they want a "Big Tent" or one that only houses the "birthers" and the Tea Party approved.

  5. The TEA Party will never let it happen, but Mitch Daniels could be a viable pick. However, he is much too moderate for the GOP today.

  6. Trump was not born in the USA, but in the Republic of Comboverville.

  7. Neither Trump nor Romney will be the GOP candidate. I like what Donald has to say. He is speaking like Americans should. But in the endgame he knows he will do better outside the walls of government. Romney? No problem with his religion, but Romney care is like a battleship anchor that will hang around his neck.

I'm much more comfortable with a Pence/West or West/Pence, Ryan/West, West/Ryan combo. These fellows have the patriotism of Trump with the intellect of Romney and NO baggage. I could live with Bachman, but sometimes she just gets a little too out there with the rhetoric.

I mean can you see Obama debating Allen West? That would be a prolific smackdown (by West) of WWE proportions. Another PILE DRIVER....I don't think he can take much more of that Gorilla.

  8. Nevada contends that Trump is a legitimate candidate?

    Okay.

    I guess.

    Go for it.

PLEEEEEEEEEASE send him a lot of money, right wingnuts.

    He NEEEEEEEEEDS your money.

And he will graciously thank you for it.

As well as tell you on the last airing of his show on television whether he is running or not.

But you have to watch it to boost his ratings. It's guaranteed he won't let the cat out of the bag before then.

PLEEEEEEEEEEASE send him money, right wingnuts.

He DESERVES to be the Republican Party candidate for President in 2012.

    DOOOOOOO IT!

    PLEEEEEEEEEASE!
