That includes 15,195 at the polls and 7,148 by mail -- that's about 3 percent of registered voters. About 5,400 voters went to the polls Monday, up about 1,000 from Sunday and about equal to Saturday.
The partisan totals:
Republicans: 10,114 -- that's just over 4 percent of registered GOP voters.
Democrats: 10,170 -- that's just over 3 percent of registered Democrats.
If these trends continue -- and assuming a slight bump in the second week -- turnout is going to be quite low, perhaps below 30 percent.
