Here's the video. If you are squeamish and can't stomach harsh interviews, consider this fair warning. Senate hopeful Sharron Angle is not challenged on anything and the hosts seem not to know who she is or who endorsed her.

One would expect Fox News to white wash or ignore this nit wits positons that are a matter of record now. But then again with the exception of right wing nut jobs, who listens to Fox news anyway. Fox News has absolutely no credibility.
Which ranks it right up there with MSNBC, CNN,this newspaper, yada yada yada.
could you imagine...
angle and ensign...
would be the dumbest most pathetic senate delegation in history...
a nut job...
and a cheating fraud...
good lord...
who the hell would join the stupid pathetic ugly lying always making a threat or fear mongering republican party these days...
only l-o-s-e-r-s!!!
Faux Noise Channel gets the facts wrong? And doesn't challenge a far right politician when her statements are in absolute conflict with prior positions? Whoever woulda thunkit?
This campaign is going to be incredibly entertaining.

Right Wingers - Wing Nuts - She Will Not Get One Single Solitary Vote From Any Senior Period
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Just like Lowden, Angle is prone to spew out impulsively whatever springs into her mind (?) ... such as this very crucial issue of Social Security. AWOLBush vowed to take it on and he laser like dropped the entire issue and now Angle, thoughtlessly, is amidst an overflow of rebellion on her intentions in resolving the Social Security delimma. Just like the wingnut privatizers who thought hospitals and banks would take the initiave on their own to install cyber protections, yet none have, due to that private bottom line, so shall those Angle shall deem to manage SS funds seek the best bottom line in the best interest of the share holders, not those who recieve SS. She is uneducated, no class and does not have the intelligence for the Senate .... just as Sen. Ensignee .... lacking. They are both odd in that they think they are fooling the people.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Thanks For Reading My Post
Palin didn't endorse her, and Palin's parents endorsed D Tark, that guy is a weather man anyway, and a bad one at that.
If she goes anywhere else on the tube, they will play the clip of her saying she wants to get rid of social security, then she'll look idiotic when she denies it.
Sounds like she regurgitates Hannity talking points like: "Saul Alinsky's 'Rules for Radicals.'" That is how these nut bars work in the boogie man conspiracy theories. The other boogie man is Soros. This is how they hint a their "Jew in the basement conspiracy theory," without saying it outright.
Of course then they'll say: "They are a big supporter of Israel." What they don't say is that they believe that when Armageddon comes, they believe that 1/3 of the world's Jews will convert to Christianity and the other 2/3 will be swept into the "sea of fire." Some friend of Israel.
Does the governor have anything to do with unemployment and foreclosure?? It is all Reid's fault? Oregon, New Mexico, the Dakota's have seen some improvement in employment, because they have taken steps beyond "a low tax strategy" to attract business.
Angle has said that she wants to privatize social security on many occasions. She will have to live with these comments. Even FOX won't be able to put a rose on that pig!
I just threw up a little in my mouth.
It's only nonsense because our government representatives don't get anything done and just take extended vacations from serving the American public, vote themselves raises and collect their checks.
Why does she speak as though she is hungover and speaking to a group of 1st graders? Why does she project such an obtuse affect(and yes, pun intended on Obtuse Angle).
@ThisOneGuy, lol...please pass the Pepto.
Angle is going to be locked up like Palin to keep her from talking. She will only go on the Republican talk stations, like KXNT, to get the softball treatment.
I haven't heard any Republicans endorsed her yet. Where is Lowden, Tark, Gibbons, Ensign, Roaggio, ET AL? We have heard from Cashell.
More fuel for Reid's campaign. Sharon's stated position is to privatize Social Security. However, since as Sharon said, most of the Tea baggers are grandparents she quickly has to reverse direction on her original stance on Social Security since most of the Tea Party folk are on Social Security.
I didn't know Harry Reid has been "water boarding" the economy but since water boarding isn't torture and most conservatives feel it can be used, then water boarding the economy is not a bad thing. I was amazed to hear that Harry Reid has personally been raiding the Social Security fund for 24 years, wow; you think someone would have said something before.
Thanks to the economic downturn, Social Security is running a temporary cash-flow deficit today. That deficit will turn permanent in just six years. Of course, in theory, the Social Security Trust Fund will pay benefits until 2037. That's not much comfort to today's 35-year-olds, who have faithfully paid into the program their entire working lives but will face an automatic 27 percent cut in benefits unless the program is reformed before they retire.
But even that figure is misleading, because the Trust Fund contains no actual assets. The government bonds it holds are simply a form of IOU, a measure of how much money the government owes the system. It says nothing about where the government will get the money to pay back those IOUs.
Even if Congress can find a way to redeem the bonds, the Trust Fund surplus will be completely exhausted by 2037. At that point, Social Security will have to rely solely on revenue from the payroll tax -- and that won't be sufficient to pay all promised benefits. Overall, the amount the system has promised beyond what it can actually pay now totals $15.8 trillion.
Moreover, Social Security taxes are already so high, relative to benefits, that Social Security has simply become a bad deal for younger workers, providing a low, below-market rate of return. Many young workers will end up paying more in taxes than they receive in benefits. They will actually lose money under the program.
And contrary to widespread belief, workers do not actually own their Social Security benefits. They are left totally dependent on the goodwill of the 535 politicians in Congress to determine what they'll receive in retirement. Benefits are not inheritable, and the program is a barrier to wealth accumulation. The program unfairly penalizes African Americans, working women, and others. In short, it is a program crying out for reform.
Sen. Reid's reaction to every one of these issues so far has been denial. "There is no crisis," he says. "The program is on solid ground for decades to come."
http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_...
money quote:
"Since Reid is attacking Angle for her support for private investment, one can logically conclude he must therefore favor tax increases and/or benefit cuts. And mighty big tax increases they would have to be -- a 50 percent increase in the payroll tax, or the equivalent. The benefit cuts would be no less draconian"
Medical insurance and co-pay will go up substantially next year to subsidize the Obamacare Reid shoved down our throat. The tax increase will come next.
Angle's own website called for changes, "as the Social Security system is transitioned out."
To backtrack and claim she doesn't want Social Security gone is a lie, plain and simple.
There was an interview with her that Ralston did before LVOne went off the air (hopefully Reid got it or Ralston still has it) where she espouses all sorts of crazy points - her support for Yucca Mtn being the most memorable. Good luck getting southern Nevada moderate votes!
One would think that comments such as wing-nut, dirty, whack-job, crazy, and other personal attacks would make their comments lose all merit; this is on BOTH sides of the fence by the way.
99.9999% of the people on here have never met either one of these people, to call them names and claim they are going to do things they haven't said they are going to do is ludacris.
The facts are Reid is a liberal who promotes himself and the liberal minded social welfare mentality, and Angle supports fiscal conservative values.
Reid is not an evil person, he just feels that government can solve all problems as they are smarter than America, and needs big government $$$ to do it. When I think of Reid I think of myself as a 15 year old being supported by my parents and being told what to do. Summer vacations were nice though...
Angle believes individuals can solve their own problems, and feels that government spends our money poorly. When I think of Angle I think of myself as an adult. Being able to drive and do my own thing is pretty nice too.
The whole nonsense that Reid hasn't done anything in 24 years, or Angle will repeal government programs is silly. What is valid is how do we want our country run?
Reid has gone from middle class to elite multi-millionare in over 30 years of public office, under his leadership in the Senate since 2006 we have increased taxes, spending, the deficit and seen the collapse of the housing market and the recession. I don't blame him for all of these but he has culpability as many of the issues we have today are liberal wealth spreading ideals. He is off the hook for Iraq spending, but the Healthcare bill showed his ethical standards from his back-room deals to buy Senate votes.
Angle is light on the experience, but has in my opinon some very good ideas for moving money out of the governments pockets and back into ours. Her state record shows a staunch belief that she opposes big government and has the best chance in my mind in keeping the federal government from over-stepping it's reach.

Patrick_R_Gibbons,
You post is obviously from a learned man, although misleading and heavy skewed to promote your agenda.
Prior comments from others about your post stated your were a plant for some organization and this posting of your makes the point clear.
Alas, the people still have at least one more fleecing coming to them.
No real journalist would ever say, "That's not true, right?"
That's the most fundamental concept about real journalism---not to ask leading questions.
It is just further proof (as if any further proof is needed) that Fox News exists only to provide a friendly platform for Republican politicians, where they can lie with impunity.
Yes there are people who worry more about who said what then what was said, but these are also the same people who lack the mental fortitude to back up their own claims and world views with tangible empirical evidence and instead hope others are willing to follow the red herrings.
That said, Mr. Tanner didn't skew anything. The fact is, Social Security is operating in the red. The trust fund will be out of money (not that it has any) by 2037. If something isn't done it will collapse and young people today will be left with practically no retirement in the future.
hey neutral...
just ignore gibbons...
he has no interest in reasoned debate...
when you wholly and completely eviscerate his arguments he just continues to spew nonsense...
a total waste of time...
what about fluoride???
isn't the introduction of fluoride into the water system a communist plot???
even though it is widely applauded as one of the top 10 medical advancements of the 20th century...
what about our precious bodily fluids???
ladies and gentlemen...
sue angle is a NUT JOB!!!
Politics does indeed make strange bedfellows; Angle is now trying to steal Al Gore's "lockbox" idea since nobody would buy her real agenda.
@ mred,
You've identified Angle's christo-fascist-Armeggedon approach to foreign policy ... Jesus won't return unless U.S. unconditionally supports Israel. Once Jesus returns, then he will incinerate unrepentant Israelis. This is standard Christian-zionist-dispensationist rhetoric from evangelical megachurches and T.V. preachers such as "Rev." John Hagee. Mainstream Republicans have to pay lipservice to this nonsense to gain votes from their "base", but some politicians, like Angle, REALLY BELIEVE THIS AND WILL MAKE U.S. FOREIGN POLICY DECISIONS TO HASTEN "END TIMES"!!! This should give any sane American some concern.
@robwhitetrash-
The totality of your credibility can be summed up in your name.
Oh, how convenient. Now that the foreign tea party puppeteer's hand is up her back, her voice and message has changed.
Where are these people from anyway? They are NOT from Nevada. Don't you want to know who they really are? After all, a vote for Angle is voting for anonymous people from other places - maybe even out of the country.
angle is a light weight, sort of like our resident spokesman from the cato inst., patsy gibbons (any relation to the washed up governor?). poor kid is clueless; she should just put a bullseye on her face and let the games begin.
Social security and Medicare combined have about a $70 trillion unfunded liability.
Let's look at the bright side.
At least it is not a $140 trillion unfunded liability.
Why would Angle want to get people off of Social Security????
It is working so well.
Our children will only have to retire at age 80 and/or pay 15% social security tax.
Most black males do not get one dime from Social Security.
Just a FYI, Socialy Security tax started at 1% for the employee and the retirement age back then equaled the average age of death. That is right boys and girls. FDR was essentially only giving social security to those few who managed to live pass the expected age of death.
Social Security is a great pyrmaid scam. We just need to make more babies to make it pay for itself.
Why ruin a good thing?
Let's keep piling on our children.
@homer-
Anyone's opinion is only as good as their credibility. Someone using the term "right wing nut jobs" to describe anyone listening to or watching Fox News has a serious deficit of it.
Fox News' ratings magnitudinaly beat every other cable news network in every timeslot. It has been recognized by the NY Times as having the most even reportage and coverage of any broadcast news network and has many contributors and personalities that are quite left of center. Like it or not, Fox News IS mainstream.
Another great example of the credibility of your "opinions" here- "This is an unfortunate move for Boise State to throw in with the laughing stock of confrences (sic)... the Pac 10 was the move for this great little school.
" -June 12, 2010
Nothing could more illustrate how uninformed your opinions are. BSU is leaving one of the "laughing stock" conferences (which includes the WAC, C-USA, MAC, Sunbelt, and, lately, the Big East) for the MWC which has the winningest bowl record in the BCS and now has the only two schools with 2 undefeated seasons in the BCS era. Three different (now four) MWC teams have been ranked in the Top 10 in the BCS era, and in that same era they have a winning record against the PAC-10 and the SEC. That aside, BSU wouldn't even be considered for invitation to the PAC-10 due to its academic status as a Masters university. It doesn't meet the most basic criteria for inclusion in the PAC-10.
So, is there anything else you'd like to chime in on? What other razor-sharp insight and solid knowledge do you have to contribute here? I'm breathless with anticipation. Not.
This is probably indicative of how both the Angle and Sandoval campaigning will go, "No, I didn't say that, what I said was ...."
Their speeches will change minute-to-minute depending on the audience. Flip-flopping and pandering ad nauseum.
This broad is an idiot. She make Rand Paul look liberal. All I can say if NV elects this moron (not Mormon) You get what you deserve. Change just for the helluva change is ridiculous. I can't stand Harry but he brings tons of money to NV along with jobs. Unemployment would probably be 25% if he wasn't your Senator. Be practical and not emotional like the idiotic tea party or should I say tea baggers!!! These are serious issues up for grabs, it's not time for a science experiment. Send Harry back to DC and NV will be better off for it. Send an idiot with Zero seniority to DC and NV will be behind Arkansas in every financial category that will be proposed in the senate. This woman is an absolute idiot, a 12 year old has more common sense...real life is not just a bunch of right wing punch lines...life is real and poor decisions (like allowing this putz Ensign on the loose) with have dire consequences for NV. So hold your noses and VOTE for Harry.
Some makeover she's had, huh? Her teeth are different, her hair is styled, her suit is updated - looks like someone has tried really hard to change her image in order to promote her nationally. Nevadans know she wants to get rid of Social Security and Medicare. It was clearly stated on her website. Does she think we are so easily fooled?
I'm not surprised that some of the Sun's most Loony Tune's posters back Reid.
They have no concept of financial sense.
Nice to see that Patrick Gibbons from the Republican NPRI continues to post in the comments section of this paper. Its unfortunate that he refuses to state who he works for so that anyone reading can make an honest assessment of what may influence him.
As for these two running for the senate, I have met both, and its like comparing an adult to a child. We need Harry back in Washington. We would be fools to surrender that kind of influence and pork for our small state that is in recession and has only 5 electoral votes.
What influences you?
It is a logical fallacy for mentally deficient people to attack who someone is, who they are associated with or who they work for. It demonstrates that you are not capable of defending your position on its own merits.
Should I, or anyone else, dismiss what teachers have to say about education because they are also members of the influential, wealthy, and powerful teachers union? Should Republicans just ignore Democrats because they are Democrats? By making this error, you, vidi, birdie, and many others are dumbing down the debate.
Some good points. Here's what I think:
Keep Reid - The guy is the Senate Majority Leader, which = pork for our state. You really want to bounce him for a freshman Senator that wants to change Washington by railing at windmills for people with agendas that don't call Nevada home? Not a good idea. I've said it before, but I feel the same way about Ensign - keep him, too. No one. And I mean no one is going to change the system in Washington. We need to understand this and keep our senior players with connections in the game to play it correctly. Wish it were different, but it's not. Split it up even with each party having an equal set of seats and let's keep our incumbents.
Change - Someone pointed out other states are in better states of recovery. This is due to diversity of economies. If we all really want change let's look to do that here. Image if we had five Zappos instead of one? Let's focus here in Nevada and figure out what can be done to make that happen. This is in all of our interests (Dem/Repub/Indy/Etc.), so let's focus on this, instead of calling each other names and all that.
MWCRob, government pork is not a good reason to support Reid. A recent Harvard study showed that when governments spend money within a state corporations within the state reducing spending (that means they hire fewer people or lay off more). http://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/6420.html?wkne...
"It was an enormous surprise, at least to us, to learn that the average firm in the chairman's state did not benefit at all from the unanticipated increase in spending," Coval reports.
Over a 40-year period, the study looked at increases in local earmarks and other federal spending that flowed to states after the senator or representative rose to the chairmanship of a powerful congressional committee.
Q: Although you didn't intend to answer this question with the research, what does your team suspect are some of the causes that could explain why companies retrench when federal dollars come into their neighborhoods?
A: Some of the dollars directly supplant private-sector activity--they literally undertake projects the private sector was planning to do on its own. The Tennessee Valley Authority of 1933 is perhaps the most famous example of this.
Other dollars appear to indirectly crowd out private firms by hiring away employees and the like. For instance, our effects are strongest when unemployment is low and capacity utilization is high. But we suspect that a third and potentially quite strong effect is the uncertainty that is created by government involvement.
Q: These findings present something of a dilemma for public policymakers who believe that federal spending can stimulate private economic development. How would you suggest they approach the problem that federal dollars may actually cause private-sector retrenchment?
A: Our findings suggest that they should revisit their belief that federal spending can stimulate private economic development. It is important to note that our research ignores all costs associated with paying for the spending such as higher taxes or increased borrowing. From the perspective of the target state, the funds are essentially free, but clearly at the national level someone has to pay for stimulus spending. And in the absence of a positive private-sector response, it seems even more difficult to justify federal spending than otherwise.
Harry Reid is bankrupting Medicare by taking $500 Billion for the Obamacare. That's why retirees, including my mother, saw an increase in co-pay in doctor's visit and medicines. Social Security will be bankrupt in a couple of decades because of mismanagement and by the government. Right now we have $1.3 Trillion deficits and in just over 1 year our debt ballooned to over $13 Trillion debt... courtesy of Harry Reid and Obama.
As Majority Leader Reid spends most of his time playing let's-make-a-deal to push Obama's agenda, not Nevada's. Just look at his donor list. The single largest group, by far, are attorneys and law firms. Goldman Sachs is his 9th largest single contributor so far. And the last time Obama was here in Las Vegas Reid was at a fund-raiser in California.
Reid's position of Majority Leader means far less to Nevada than you would think. But it means a lot to Louisiana and Nebraska.
Don't forget, there are a lot of moderates and independents who would have preferred to say "Madame President", and probably would have been had Reid not convinced Obama to run in the first place. A lot of dyed-in-the-wool Democrats will praise him for that, but a lot of voters with buyer's remorse won't.
I'm not surprised that Gibby is painting a very dark, dark picture for the future of Social Security....
That's what he's paid to do....
Gibby believes that by telling people that Social Security is going to go broke, more and more people will be demanding that the system be privatized or scrapped....
Gibby, on such things as Social Security, is nothing more than a Joseph Goebbels during the days of the Third Reich.....
It's simply the "big lie" approach that the Nazi's used time after time..... Tell a lie, a big lie, and tell it often enough and some people will start to believe it!
Am I calling Gibby a Nazi? No, I wouldn't do that.... You make up your own mind...it's a free country!
The big lie? Similar to the lie that "every things gonna be alright with the Social Security"
Ther will be a few tweeks and adjustments made and this administration will kick the can on down the road like all the rest of the Presidents have. Ever since LBJ and Tedddy Kennedy found the room full of money that WAS the Social Security fund.
I am proud to have voted for Sharron Angle in the primary, and I am proud to vote for her in November.
Obviously, the liberal-leaning Las Vegas Sun will have many more anti-Angle comments than the conservative-leaning Review-Journal. I accept that.
I also accept that FOX News is no more right-leaning than MSNBC is left-leaning.
Finally, I'd rather have a "right wing nut-job" than Harry Reid!
We'll see who's whining in November!
Gibby said....
"It is a logical fallacy for mentally deficient people to attack who someone is, who they are associated with or who they work for...."
Hmmmmmm.......I see that Gibby is now crying in his beer over the fact that several posters on this board have called Gibby what he is....a hired gun for the Cato Institute.
Gibby would have you believe that its some how unfair if posters on this board remind other posters that Gibby gets paid to post the crap that he does....
Gibby also likes to tell other posters that he never resorts to name calling. Instead he simply debates the issues.....
Of course, calling certain posters "mentally deficient" is not a form of name calling....
If you don't believe me, ask Gibby.....
This woman was a terrible legislator. She couldn't work with her own party to get legislation passed in the Nevada Legislature. Why would Nevadans believe, that as a junior senator, she could do anything other than take up space in Washington?
I heard it on 60 minutes, I think Kay Arthur in Texas was interviewed amongst others, 1/3 coverts, 2/3's in the fire crap..
I think the Midland Bible study group that helped Bush exchange the bottle for the Bible is one of these Christian Zionist Outfits...
Sue Lowden would not answer Mr. Ralston when he ask her if she was for segregated lunch counters saying it was a "got-you question."
Will Angle be asked about the Armageddon issue or Middle East Politics? She's probably being trained with the "Only Democracy in the Middle East and our best ally stuff," but how can she keep a lid on her Christo-radicalism?
Ralston is Po'd because Angle didnt give him the first interview. That being said, Reid is going to carpet bomb Angle with every dirty deed and negative spin he can dig up from now until November. In order for Angle to win, despite Reid's unpopularity, she will need to go very negative and soon. This will be a dirty, nasty and gutter campaign. I give Angle 50/50 chance of winning. Her only chance is to get real downlow and stay on Reid's high negatives regarding spending, jobs lost, and immigration "reform". Otherwise Whorehouse Harry will slip back in the back door for another senate term.
I don't trust this whackadoodle woman.
She goes down on record in the past saying one thing, then she now says something different. Where is it written down that she won't change her mind again? Especially after she did it once.
Don't get me wrong, I've always believed the beauty of a woman is man's total inability to figure them out...but this don't extend over to the field of politics.
She has this nasty habit of saying one thing one time, then saying something else later. Not only Sharron Angle, but many, many other Republicans have done this too. It's like they act like they are privileged and are allowed to be two faced. Either that or they believe it is their manifest destiny to change with the wind; don't matter what they say as long as they get your vote.
And I'm supposed to trust Sharron Angle??!?!!?
I'm a voter in the Soverign State of Nevada. And I am officially the voter of no. Not no. I'm the voter of hell no to anything Sharron Angle.
Sharron Angle said, "We should phase out Social
Security".
This is what she said and this is what she
believes.
Sharron Angle doesn't need Social Security or "Obamacare" since both she and her husband are retired government employees and so enjoy the retirement benefits. Angle & husband haven't stated they will refuse their government retirement benefits because they oppose "big government". It surprises me how many of these politicians who say they support free markets and unfettered capitalism never participated in that system, either they were career military or civilian government employees or career Republican apparatchiks, or were abject failures in that system. If you talk the talk, you should walk the walk.
Nice try morons. She should go one MS EIEIO after Harry the thief goes on Fox news. She won't fall into the same trap as Sue Lowden did. Just like the amateur Obama puppet, she can vote present. So I say Harry Reid wants to raise the cost of gas to $12.00 per gallon by passing an agressive cap and tax. I say Harry Reid wants amnesty for all illegals. I say Harry the thief wants to give illegals the right to vote. I say Harry Reid wants to BK this country. An Jon, you sleep with the Democratic nominee for Lt.Governor, Jessica Sferrazza and you write negative comments against a Republican candidate. Did this girl graduate high school yet? Did you check her ID to see if she's legal. Your not a legitimate journalist. You just happen to have a pulpet. As long as your sleeping with her, you should take a leave of absence and recuse yourself of all political comments. I hear Harry the thief needs the hubcaps shined on his SUV. Just keep making crap up. The voter is smarter than you think. Is that you in the chicken suit, Jonny boy moron?
teamster..Before it's all over you'll be paying 15 percent of earned income into Social Security. With a 300 thousand dollar cap. you won't be able to draw full benefits until 72 years of age and the 20 percent deduction for early retirement at 69 will be moved to 30 percent. Pretty grim huh?
You might as well throw in the towel Angle. You will not get my vote nor my friends vote. You belong in a small town.
Senator Harry Reid, we are voting for you and kindly show Angle the way out.
Hey BCDave!
I've read most comments on this thread so far, but I gotta tell you, BCDave, your post took my breath away. I have never seen a better representation of Tea Party intelligence gone-wild! Man, such articulated power, command of facts, and connecting the dots like, like... like you were Glenn Beck!
I hope you'll give Sharron Angle's campaign a call real soon? What a complete asset you would be on her team. Go ahead, give her a call and join up today...
Can anyone really take Sharron "Dubya" Angle seriously?
The consulting firm of Russo, Marsh, and Rogers/Tea Party Express/Our country deserves better PAC in Sacramento, Ca and the "Club for growth" own Sharron Angle from top to bottom and from front to back.
She is no longer Nevada's dog in the fight!
Of course, Angle's position has changed because of her new Tea Party puppeteers!! Sharron Angle is running for a seat in Nevada, but is now owned and operated by foreign operatives!!! Find out who these "owners" are and then let Nevadans know who are really are voting for. And, bottom line, the real Republicans in the state of Nevada will not be wasting their vote on people they do not know. At least they know Harry and can work with him.
El Lobo,
If the best you can do is say "nazi" or "they are "x" then you are likely mentally deficient or at least do not posses the necessary information to defend your position on its merits.
I make a claim, back it up with an article or two, and you bring out the word "nazi" "cato" and "npri" completely failing to address the points at hand. Ignoring issues and facts do not make them go away, no matter how dogmatic and illogical you may be.
PS, I do appreciate how you completely ignore academic studies I post...
Harry Reid has mismanaged our tax money in Washington, but hes done very well for himself and his Reid family dynasty. He cut medicare 500 billion dollars throwing seniors under the bus. He will promote amnesty and pass a bill for it if reelected. Jobs. 14 percent unemployment, that saysit all.Anyone but Reid in November, enough is enough already.
It's funny that none of the pseudo patriots can really defend Angle and all they can do is attack Reid or Social Security. You're missing the point; the woman lied on TV, on her first big interview, plain and simple.
Gibbons is correct. Social Security will not be in 30 years. It needs to be phased out, or over-hauled. Denying it and attacking people who bring up the issue is silly.
I suppose the thing to do would be to just pretend everything is ok.
I don't think Angle can do anymore damage than Obamas' puppet Reid has already done. We are on a downward spiral toward being a third world country.
Republicans don't care about Social Security,
that's why they keep sending American jobs to
Communist China.
STOP SENDING JOBS TO CHINA.
THAT WILL FIX SOCIAL SECURITY.
rhooster.......
Your comment is typical republican ignorance.
Harry Reid chose Barack Obama because of his
high intelligence.
President Obama's I.Q. IS 172, that's genius.
Bush's I.Q. IS 95.
Reagan's I.Q. was 105.
Yes rhooster, Democrats are smarter than
republicans.
The reason they send the jobs to China is they avoid paying high labor costs that have been the norm in the USA. Unions drive the wages high.
A Chinese person doesn't think as highly of himself like our Union schmucks do.
teamster...Please post the link that lists everybody's IQ. If Obama's IQ is so high how come he can't find BP's phone number.
Sharp.......
Your comment proves that you greedy republicans
don't care about America or American workers.
That's why we booted you greedy jerks out of
the White House.
Republican greed backfired.
How about Union Greed? Is THAT good for America.
Productivity is what is good for America. Not hihj Union wages.
teamster...
I am not a Republican.
You guys are brutal. It is fun to sit on the other side of the Colorado River and watch the fireworks over there. I guess WW3 has finally started with all the bombs bursting in air.
Just a comment on Reid. He and his two cronies have sold us out in a year. If we allow them to keep it up the USA will be bankrupt.
Anybody remember the Mustang Ranch? Well the Feds took it over and, according to law, they had to run it. It went bankrupt.
I get nervous when I think about trusting Health Care, Social Security, Banking operation, and the various corporations that were bailed out in the hands of the same outfit that couldn't make money running a whore house and sellin' booze.
I believe there needs to be a movement to remove the politicians that aren't listening to the people. Reid is one of them. 60% of the people oppose Obamacare. Yet he forces the passage. Majorities of the people oppose Cap and Trade and higher taxes; Reid wants them pushed through. Is that out of touch? 71% want their states to have a law like Arizona passed. Does this register on the three stooges of Washington? Not even a whisper.
Politicians like these are what needs to be fired. To hell with the power a single person has. If he abuses that power then it should be turned off.
As things seem to be shaping up Reid may not be Senate Majority Leader in 2011. All over the nation it's time to take out the trash.
Gerry........ That's a laugh.
We, the majority, already booted the republican
crooks out of the White house.
Did you forget?
Greedy republicans ruined our economy and we
fired them.
I guess you think Sharron Angle's idea of
phasing out Social Security is a good idea.
The vast majority of Americans don't.
Harry Reid will have an easy win.
Why is this news? The LV Sun is a biased publication clearly against the GOP......what a skewed bunch of news being fed to people in Nevada.
S711
Sharp......
So you would rather support Communist Dictators
than your own fellow Americans?
That's anti-American.
We union workers support American workers.
You're no patriot.
Sinatra.........
So you're another republican afraid of the
truth?
If you don't the LV Sun, don't read it.
gogo......
Talk about lies and spin. you're #1.
You greedy republicans ruined our economy and
you have the nerve to defend your crooks.
You still don't understand why you greedy
republicans got booted out of the White House?
You greedy right-wingers are now the permanent
minority, get used to it.
teamster, keep voting for Democrats and then join the ranks of the unemployed when they give amnesty to the illegal immigrants who take YOUR job or cut your wages in half. You are your own worst enemy.
boftx......
You have to be LEGAL to get a union job.
They're not taking our jobs.
The lack of jobs here is because you greedy
republicans keep sending our good jobs to
COMMUNIST CHINA.
Republicans are the enemy of American workers.
Nice theory, but a check of the SEIU would be interesting. Beyond that, the presence of such large numbers of cheap labor won't do a thing to improve your bargaining position for keeping your pay where it is at, let alone get it higher. Look at what happened at chicken processing plants. They used to pay damn good money at almost $20/hr for a line worker, now it's close to minimum wage.
The construction industry is a prime example of illegal workers taking union jobs. They don't HAVE to be in the union to do that. People simply don't hire union workers.
And look at the SEIU again, just WHY are they so in favor of amnesty (to call it what it is)? The other major unions are against it for the reason I state, but they are not.
Let's see, you republicans want to kick out all
illegals but you want to hire them for all
construction jobs.
That makes sense.
First, if Republicans or Democrats or anybody else is serious about stopping illegal immigration, start demanding the prosecution of business owners and managers who hire them.
Second, I recommend that you go to http://www.gregpalast.com/behind-the-ari....
There, Greg Palast, whom I don't often agree with on conspiracy theories, puts it perfectly: Repubicans are using these immigration laws in hopes of scaring Latinos and Latinas, who are likely to vote Democratic for a variety of reasons, into staying home and not voting. I don't think it's THAT simple. But I think that is a big, big part of this.
