That's what I have found from delving into the Clark County Commission chairman's gubernatorial campaign report, which is at right. Station Casinos was first, but there are plenty of others who came close with tens of thousands of dollars, much more than the $10,000 statutory limit because they used different entities. The bundling accounts for slightly under a fifth of Reid's $3.3 million raised.
As you will see from some of the notables below, Reid also has some generous friends on the commission, in the development community and in Clintonworld. I have attached labels where I think they might be necessary:
Station Casinos $100,000
Binion family $80,000
Marnell family $70,000
Maloof family $70,000
Steve Cloobeck $60,000
MGM MIRAGE $50,000
Billy Walters $50,000
Harrah’s $30,000
Nagy family $30,000 (doc)
Teachers $30,000
Frias Cos. $30,000 (cab/limo)
Steve Wynn $25,000
Peter Angelos $20,000 (lawyer and Orioles owner)
Siegfried/Roy $20,000
Michael Gaughan $20,000
Bob Arum $10,000
Susan Brager $10,000
Jay Brown $10,000
Tom Collins $10,000
Jim Rhodes $10,000 (developer, close to ex-Commissioner Erin Kenny)
Steve Sisolak $10,000
Mary Kaye Cashman $10,000
Sheet Metal Workers $10,000
Marc Lasry $10,000 (major Clinton donor)
Jeffrey Katzenberg $10,000
U.S. Sen. Max Baucus $5,000
Bob Stupak $5,000
Laborers $5,000
Carpenters $5,000
Teamsters $5,000
Steven Horsford $5,000
Don King $5,000
Harold Ickes $2,000 (Clinton strategist)
Howard Wolfson $1,000 (Clinton spokesman)
JJ Abrams $2,000 ("Lost" and "Star Trek")
Jerry Bruckheimer $1,000 (Hollywood)
Ex-U.S. Sen. B. Torricelli$1,000 (left under cloud)
Donald Trump $1,000
UNLV's Neal Smatresk $500
(Disclosure note: Two Greenspun families gave a total of $30,000, and Bruce Deifik, the head of the family company, gave $5,000; KVBC owner Jim Rogers, $2,700)

Thanks for listing all of the business interests that are now on my Decline to Shop There list.

Just goes to show that you can buy a politician any day.
It's interesting that the unions are trying to buy little Harry for 45,000 dollars.. This guy is a bargain compared to his father...
This is clear evidence of their anti-Mexican, anti-Hispanic bias and prejudice. It's obvious that the California Mexican origin population should spend its discretionary gaming money in California's Indian Casinos.
That is a lot of money to waste on someone that doesn't have a chance.
Nice to see that even though Station Casinos can't pay their vendors and creditors, lay off workers, cut benefits, and tighten machines, that they still have $100,000 to give to this tool. Must be some great promises in there if he wins.
Also, nice to see that the ever-broke Wah-"we have no money" teachers had $30,000 to blow on this moron. Wow! They usually get a 1,000 x return on bribe money they send to Carson, so I can see this is probably just a down payment.
I see MGM-Mirage is continuing their favor payback from daddy. Probably also getting assurances of no increase in the gaming tax.
And geez... at the bottom of the rock, Steven Horsford. Hmm. Some might consider this a conflict of interest. I wonder what favors he's expecting in return? Where the hell did Horsford get $5,000 anyway? Would be interesting to see the results of that investigation.
This grosses me out.
I think we can see why Rory Reid left "bundling" out of his ethics' proposals.
