Angle wants “national referendum” on Harry Reid

Ex-Assemblywoman Sharron Angle, via Newsmax, the conservative web site, sent out a pitch for her U.S. Senate campaign that calls for a "national referendum" to defeat Harry Reid and to give to guess who? She also wants to shut down TARP and the stimulus and freeze the budget. Here's some of the pitch:

Dear Fellow Conservatives, Harry Reid, the Democrat U.S. Senate majority leader is the point man for an unprecedented spending binge that has led to a runaway national debt of $7.5 trillion at the end of October. What did America get for all of this spending? A 10% national unemployment rate! Harry Reid is up for re-election next year, with an approval rating of only 35 %. He is counting on all the special interest groups and lobbyists to buy his re-election, with a campaign war-chest totaling over $13 million to-date. It is time to have a national referendum on Harry Reid now, by sending a financial donation to a true and proven conservative candidate running against Harry Reid.

Sharron Angle, who served 8 years in the Nevada State Assembly, is a true conservative, a recipient of the Ronald Reagan Medallion from the Claremont Institute for her fight clear to the U.S. Supreme Court to preserve Nevada’s constitutionally-required 2/3 vote to pass any tax/fee increase. Shut down and return all of the remaining TARP funds for national debt reduction.
