Fearful that the state controller will slow down the stimulus money, the governor's office, after consulting with the AG, delivered a letter to Kim Wallin this morning that cites Nevada law giving Jim Gibbons the authority to disburse funds in an emergency without prior legislative approval. And so this embarrassing, partisan tug 'o war continues.
The letter is posted at right --the programs referred to are the stimulus director and the weatherization programs.
