Hey, Fuzzy, can I give you a ride?

Jan Thomson’s Packermobile is a welcome cheesy sight for Green Bay Packer fans around the Las Vegas Valley.

NOW

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned seeing this P.T. Cruiser on the street that was painted in the colors of the Green Bay Packers. Not only that, it had Fuzzy Thurston's name on it. And a big piece of cheese.

Lo and behold if I didn't get a note from the car's owners, Mike and Jan Thomson. It was a friendly note, too, which might have been a small upset, considering I'm a Bears fan and they've got a mural of Vince Lombardi plastered on the back window of their car.

Anyway, they included a photo of Jan's Packermobile which I am posting here, because any written description of the car simply would not do it justice.

They also wanted me to know there's going to be a new place to watch Packers games this fall -- Jackson's Bar and Grill at 6020 W. Flamingo Road.

If you go there right now, you can probably have the best seat in the house to watch Jay Cutler and the Super Bowl-bound Monsters of the Midway destroy the Packers on Sunday night of opening weekend.

THEN

After the legendary Ice Bowl game against the Dallas Cowboys, a reporter asked Frederick Charles Thurston how he prepared for playing football in minus-15 degree weather:

"About 10 vodkas," Fuzzy said.

This may explain why Packers fans insist on painting his name on the sides of their cars.
