Cox Las Vegas announced it planned to debut two new MTV channels, mtvU and MTV Tr3 to its local digital cable line-up on June 29.
As the brand MTV indicates, both mtvU and MTV Tr3 will feature music videos, but each channel will feature additional content geared for specific audiences. mtvU is geared toward college students and will roll out special series profiling up-and-coming acts on the college scene. MTV Tr3 is geared toward today's Latino youth and provides programming that features the fusion of American and Latino music, cultures, lifestyles and languages.
mtvU can be found on Cox Channel 367 and MTV Tr3 can be found on Cox Channel 368.
