Police close roads in aftermath of Monte Carlo fire

Metro Police said both Las Vegas Boulevard South and Frank Sinatra Drive are closed to all nonessential traffic between Tropicana Avenue and Flamingo Boulevard.

Metro said: Employees of strip properties located on the west side of Las Vegas Boulevard between Tropicana and Flamingo, who have valid employee identification can use Frank Sinatra Drive in order to get to work, however they MUST have employee I.D. to pass the road blocks.

Tropicana and Flamingo are both open to two way traffic.
