Vocal and respiratory concerns landed Marie Osmond in the emergency room late Wednesday night.
Osmond spokesman Greg Sperry said this morning that during the latter stages of Donny & Marie’s show at Flamingo Las Vegas, Marie’s voice sounded hoarse, leading to concerns about her vocal cords. She finished the performance, and Sperry advised that she seek evaluation immediately after the show.
After the show, Osmond also complained of tightness in her lungs, leading to concerns that she might be suffering from bronchitis. But after a 90-minute evaluation at St. Rose Dominican Hospital Sienna Campus Emergency Room, where she underwent a series of tests and X-rays, she was cleared to perform again this evening, and no dates for Donny & Marie at the Flamingo have been canceled. However, Sperry said some numbers might be cut or truncated to give her voice some rest.
Osmond also is cleared to participate in a doll-signing Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Flamingo Promenade Gift Store. That event is to mark the 20th anniversary of her signature doll collection, and the event is expected to draw hundreds of fans from across the country.

When is enough ENOUGH? It's time to call it a day.Do they really need the money? Acts like Cher, Manillow , Elton John don't know when to quit.
Damn! Marie looks hot in the photo. What a cougar or maybe a grand-cougar! She had gotten kind of frumpy but I guess she remained on the Dancing With The Stars diet and lost even more weight. Hot mama!
Some of the facial expressions on Marie from the gallery suggest pure misery. Well, like a lot of these folks, anything is better than having to work for a living.
Some people have such miserable lives that they resort to making inappropriate comments.
I have watched Donny and Marie perform for years. As kids and as adults they are still on stage. That's what they do and seem to LOVE, entertaining old and young alike. Can you imagine the time, labor and demand, that a person has to be at their best daily. Most people could not stand that pressure.
