Over the past several weeks, we have been shooting video footage of “Kats With the Dish” at the KUNV 91.5-FM studios at Greenspun Hall on the UNLV campus. The cameras had become so commonplace that my co-host, Tricia McCrone, and I had almost forgotten the point of the project.

Well, the first evidence of the latest multimedia wrinkle for “KWTD” is the debut of the 30-minute TV version of the show set to air at 4 p.m. Sunday on KTUD (Cox Communications Channel 14; over the air on Channel 25).

The first guest for the TV version of the show is illusionist Criss Angel, who talks of his efforts to retool his show, “Believe,” at the Luxor, his new magic-themed Web site (TheMagicPlace.com) and how he’s allowed his real personality, the “Christopher” as opposed to Criss, to be known to the public.

“Kats With the Dish” airs Sundays at 4 p.m. on KTUD, and over time, plans are for it to air on Saturdays and Sundays in that time slot.
