Silverado’s Graham still wavering between UCLA, Utah

Silverado defensive end Keenan Graham will wait until Wednesday’s National Signing Day to decide between the college football programs at UCLA and Utah, he said today.

He plans on bringing papers from both universities to a ceremony in Principal Kim Grytdahl’s office.

“I’m excited for it,” he said. “I know it’s all coming to an end, and then I will have some work to do to get ready (to play).”

Graham verbally committed to UCLA in November but had second thoughts in early January after Utah, which won the Sugar Bowl and finished ranked No. 2, continued to aggressively pursue him.

Graham enjoyed his recruiting trip to Utah Jan. 17 and 18, and said Jan. 19 that he was favoring Utah. He said Monday he likes both schools equally and still has not decided.

Graham, who had 73 tackles, seven sacks and three fumble recoveries in 2008 to be named the Sunrise Region’s defensive player of the year, is ranked No. 14 nationally at his position by recruiting Web site Rivals.com.
