Contest offers seat next to Harry Reid at UFC 116

(via ) · June 23, 2010 · 4:47 PM

The UFC is offering a special promotion for UFC 116 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 3 — a front row seat next to UFC president Dana White and Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.). Headlining the event is a heavyweight title fight between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin.

Fans can enter the contest on Reid's Web site (www.harryreid.com), where more details are provided through a statement written by White.

"UFC 116 features one of the most explosive Heavyweight Championship contests in UFC history," says White's post. " I’ll be sitting with Nevada’s own Harry Reid, the Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate, and the winner of this contest, and I can’t wait. Harry is a supporter and a fan of the sport, and UFC 116 is an awesome opportunity to show him how the sport has grown and how it’s bringing fight fans to Las Vegas. The winner of this contest is going to have a great look at two of the biggest and best strikers in the sport, and an undercard that won’t disappoint."
