When will Mr. Sharron Angle return the thousands and thousands of dollars in BLM-Big Government pension money he's receiving after sucking at the public teet for 30 years?
Why didn't Crazy Angle include the Dept of Interior in the many government agencies she wants to see eliminated? We know why.
This article makes no sense, It appears this headline and small editotial was put up by the Sun/Reid team in order to allow some Wednesday AM Angle bashing. The story is so not worth the top real estate given to it on this site.

The GOP handlers have muzzled Crazy Angle. She'll be a mindless, talking-points robot until Election Day, doing her best to appear almost sane and nonthreatening.
No more mention of Second Amendment remedies, privatizing Social Security and so on. But if she wins off comes the mask and the real nutcase is unleashed on the US Senate.
Angle clearly has mental deficiencies, she's obviously a theocrat and has had to back-track on many of her insane comments from the past. Anyone who thinks she's actually a better choice than Reid also needs to seek professional psychiatric help.

Sharron Angle is the kind of character that should garner about 3-5% of the vote in November.
That, typically, would represent the number of people in any one community, city, state, that would vote for a complete and total NUT.
WHY ON EARTH would someone who arrived in a spaceship and espouses CRACKPOT notions garner nearly HALF THE VOTE, in current polling???

Sharon Angle would be a permanent embarassment to Nevada. She would set pro-Nevada legislation on the back burner of the Senate for a generation. The loss would encompass not only her term, but the lack of seniority would have a multiplying effect.
If Crazy Angle wins she'll be chained in the Senate cloakroom with a food dish and litter box for six years. And it'll be her GOP colleagues, not Democrats, who do that.
Republicans are trying hard to keep a straight face and pretend the Reno nutcase is a serious, credible candidate.

Fine by me -- either option will only benefit Reid and keep Mrs. Human Crazy Glue out of the Senate.

The smearing of Sharron Angle has backfired on Reid. Sharron has 99% name recognition because of the $10 million Harry has spent promoting her. No amount of name-calling can change Harry's miserable record. The people want a change.
Crazy Angle should be given an IQ test to qualify for the election.

Let me guess, we could not find hours of stupid remarks made by Reid over the years? Don't make a decision based on a few intemperate remarks made off the cuff in a confusing situation. Reid must go!
I'm CONFUSED when people dismiss Sharron Angle's remarks as "edited remarks" or "intemperate remarks made off the cuff". These weren't sound bites, they were all said in lengthy interviews. I mean, this is what YOUR woman said, people! If your FOR her or are going to vote for her, stand by your candidate's remarks or not. I, for one, am totally disappointed how Reid comes out with his opinion on the mosque being built in NY. Very very disappointed that he caved. Also disappointed that Reid has not done enough for our state, but there's NO WAY I'm going to vote for a WHACK JOB like Sharron Angle. At least with Harry Reid, I know what I'm going to get! Sharron Angle, I don't know what I'll get and the "unknowing" with her, I'm not going to take that chance.
@tonymann. I, too, am disappointed, but remember this: it is NOT a mosque: it is a cultural center with a prayer room. There will be no minarets, no calling to the wall, just a small prayer room. It is NOT at Ground Zero, it is 2 and 1/2 LONG New York blocks away from Ground Zero, on a street with very little foot traffic (read: tourists/pilgrims going to the "holy site" of 9/11). It was merely a zoning issue that was voted on unanimously by all in authority and it should have STAYED that way. Please see: Keith Olberman's "Special Comment" on Monday, August 16, 2010. Well done piece that says everything I want to say but far, far better.

Senator Reid supported, and even voted for Illegal Aliens to participate in Social Security. That is just downright un-American,

Those DC guys polished her up good. Shes toned down and now got the spin straight. The problem is she is lying. She says she never wanted to abolish social security when on Face to Face w/ John Ralston she said he wanted to terminate it. "It's broken" If she wins, she will be with Ensign, kissing the C Street boys and the party of no help to anyone except their pockets from banks and oil. Does Nevada want this? What is wrong with this Tea Party's brains? I know we are upset with Senator Reid and I agree that the NY mosque statement is not right; but do we want a crazy lady that wants women back in the 50's, to send gays & lesbians back in the closet, to tear the fabric built for many years in gov't to help us in trouble, to destroy our environment, and on and on. "She needs to go back to school and have a history lesson from the 60's to now. She has no clue of the real world. Especially telling young girls in trouble to make lemonade. I know there are women out there that are smart and have great careers in business and gov't. I am concerned that the Tea Party pack of women are going to hurt us now and in the future. I pray not. I don't want us back in hell. Also she served 6 years in the Nevada gov't. What did she do earning our tax dollars? Make tea parties?

Now she is just telling you what her GOP advisers are telling her to tell you so you will vote for her.
The GOP want to kill Social Security and give the money to Wall Street and Sharron Angle will do her part to eliminate it if she gets elected.

I am not a professor of economics or graduate of MIT or anything like that. I merely have a BA in business administration and a slight understanding of human nature. I tried to imagine the world of President Angle where Social Security has been abolished, as well as Medicare and Medicaid, and we all must now fend for ourselves for our retirement. Our employers no longer have to pay into Social Security OR our retirement fund any more, either, so we are left to our own devices as to planning for our golden years.
Taking the following information: I started working at the age of 18 at the exaggerated rate of $10.00 an hour (in 1972 for purposes of this hypothesis); was promoted at the age of 25 to $15.00 per hour; was magically promoted AGAIN at the age of 35 to $75,000.00 per year. I have used these numbers to distinguish, rather outlandishly, with numbers no one can claim to have made in the last 47 years unless you are independently wealthy, the drama of my conclusion. We then take the salary I have made, assume that I am presently 55 years old and wish to retire in 10 years, am still earning that $75,000.00 per year, and was smart enough to have invested precisely when I started working at the ripe old age of 18 in a Blue Chip fund that yielded an average of 4% per annum for the last 47 years at the rate of 7.85% each time I was paid (equal to the amount taken out of your check for Social Security). I never, not once, not EVER, weakened in spirit or focus to so much as take ONE CENT from my so-called "retirement fund" for any other purpose, such as living, a car, a weekend in Havasu, what have you.
In my extrapolation, I have amassed the princely sum of $235,531.40 to live on for the next 20 years of my life, assuming I live to the expected age of 85. I therefore have the amount of exactly $981.38 to live on each month, providing myself with housing, health care or medical needs, food and utilities. Wow. What a scenario to look forward to. That really defines "golden years" for you.
Read the numbers again. Do the math if you want or if you can. It's all right in front of you. Now ask yourself this: Is this the kind of life I want for myself?? For my children?? For my grandchildren? Is this what Sharron Angle calls that vast fortune or "inheritance" I will have when I retire?

Social security is doomed for the future. There is not enough money to pay benefits for people 40 or under. I would rather rely on my own money then depend upon the government for anything. Why should I work my tail off and then "donate" my money to support an illegal alien with 10 kids. This is a financial issue and not a political issue.

Everyone can not amass enough money to live on in retirement. The GOP do not even want the working poor to make minimum wage pay. The cost to live in a trickle down economy keeps going up.
The only way to provide for elders in retirement is with the Social Security System. Or everyone will be saddled with the cost to take care of their elder relatives and parents. Millions of families went broke before the great depression because of it. Social Security allowed elders to be more independent and not be a burden on their children who barely had enough money to live on.
The GOP are trying to scare and con you into giving the money to Wall Street so the elite and big corporations can have complete control over your life.
It is comical to read the Angle bashing on this site. Folks, if you are buying into Reid's false and phony distorted advertising on Angle, you are being suckered, big time. Reid would have you believe Angle is the threat to Social Security when it is Reid's reckless spending(not any action by Angle) that has jeopardized Social Security. Reid also voted to cut $500 Billion from Medicare, cut Medicare Advantage and to cut Doctor's payments under Medicare by 21%(this is all in ObamaCare). Plus, Reid voted against the Medicare Part D benefit afforded to seniors back in 2003. The truth is just the opposite of what Reid says concerning Social Security and Medicare. Reid is the threat to Social Security and Medicare(as evidenced by his voting record recounted above and the jeopardy he has placed those programs into by means of his reckless spending). Angle hasn't cut Social Security or Medicare one cent and she says she wants to prevent Reid from raiding the Social Security Trust Fund. Nevadans, give her a chance. Reid has already had plenty of time and chances. He deserves to be retired.
