The dozens of framed photographs that once lined the backstage walls are stacked now on the floor. Danny Gans with Kevin Costner. Danny Gans with Sly Stallone. Danny Gans with Florence Henderson. Danny Gans with Morey Amsterdam. So many celebrities, all wearing that camera-ready grin. But in the dressing room, things remain as Danny Gans laid them out in his meticulous way, arrayed on a table for the next performance that never came: his Kermit the Frog puppet; silver Michael Jackson glove; Ray Charles glasses; Elvis glasses; George Burns glasses and wooden prop cigar. This is part of what was left behind by Danny Gans, a man famous for not being all that famous.

Danny had the most talent I've ever seen! He will be missed! RIP Danny Gans!
saw him 2 times - he was a super person and could do so many voices - RIP Danny - Say hi to the rat pack while you are at the purley gates!!
I remember Danny Gans from the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino. I was employed there and I saw Danny several times. He was AWESOME!! I sure hated to see him leave, but one must move on to greater and better opportunities in their lives. He will be greatly missed. I am praying for his family and trust they will be comforted in knowing that he was loved by many and was one of the greatest entertainers in Las Vegas.
