The Moorea Club at Mandalay Bay, one of the many pools that offer "European" sunbathing in Las Vegas, is an example of demand-based price discrimination, says the New York Times' Freakonomics blog. Male customers a pay $50 entrance fee, while female customers are charged $10. This is in spite of the fact that what the club sells -- a place in the sun -- costs the club the same no matter the gender of the patron.

lol welcome to vegas where even a woman's breasts aren't free to see
Mandalay could charge $50 for both men and women, but then you are left with a pool full of men hoping to hang out with topless women and not a woman to be found. In a city where local women are usually comped the cover charge, even $10 seems inhibitive for someone who is about to make the pool $50 a person to sneak a peak.
Im wondering when there gonna start a room tax on flushing the tolit? or put a clicker on the paper roll? vegas has turned into a joke!!!
Fat chicks have to pay $50. Saggy old ladies are charged $100. Natural DD's get in free!
the women in there are paid by the casino to pretend they're real customers. only a dumbass would give them $50 to stare at some boobs.
100 degree weather, and hardcore drinkin. Yer payin $50 to wallow around in a pool full of piss and sweat, with a titty here and there.
If I'm going to pay $50 to see boobs in Vegas, it would be for the privilege of watching a MGM Mirage board of directors meeting. Now, that's entertainment!
Hotel guests should have this option for free and others should be charged whatever Mandalay Bay wants to.
really what in the heck are they thinking? Bally's health clubs just lost in court for the exact same thing...
Then don't frequent the Mandalay Bay, go somewhere else. What you think you are ENTITLED?
There are plenty of free boobies bouncing up and down the Strip for free.
2zero: What if you are fat AND you have Natural DD's? Maybe 25.00? Should the women with the fake DD's get a fee waiver? A boob waiver? A boobie on the house wavier? Ha Ha
