A source told the LA Times today that a long-awaited agreement between the UFC and arguably the world's top fighter, Fedor Emelianenko, is expected to be announced by UFC President Dana White during a Friday press conference. The source said the negotiations between the two camps were "very civil." Emelianenko, who is in Anaheim, Calif. for his recently canceled Affliction fight against Josh Barnett, will host a press conference on Wednesday afternoon to address the speculation surrounding where he will fight next.
