Roger Mayweather, 48, the uncle and head trainer for unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., was arrested in Las Vegas on Sunday on charges of coercion with force and battery via strangulation. According to the police report, Melissa St. Vil, 25, a professional boxer whom Mayweather once trained, called 911 at 10:01 a.m. on Sunday and screamed out her address before the phone was disconnected. When officers arrived, they found Mayweather in the kitchen behind St. Vil with his arms around her. According to the report, St. Vil was coughing and spitting blood and had redness on her throat. Paramedics said they noticed defense wounds to the side of Mayweather’s face and a laceration on the top of his head. The report said that St. Vil struck Mayweather on the head with a lamp as he was choking her. Paramedics reported to police that a broken lamp they discovered had blood on the inside of the lampshade. The arrest puts in question Mayweather's ability to work his nephew’s corner for Mayweather Jr.’s Sept. 19 return to boxing against Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand Garden.

isn't this the same Mayweather that attacked and stalked his ex girlfriend Tracy for months sometimes back in the late 80s after she left him??
Domestic abuse runs in the family. My guess is (DA) Roger gets a nice fat envelope and this goes away just like it did with nephew.
Whats not being said is the fact that the other brother jeff was with her, when he was done sporting the chick roger had her, she realized sleeping with the one then the other she was dumped then hid in rogers home while trying to use her imagination to get on top, things didn't pan out, and she found her self stuck with two nutts, thinking that boxing body she was offering was going to get her to the top. Hummmmm these guys are domestic violence freaks of nature!
