Danny Glover stumps for Obama

Memo to Democrats: No one cares about Danny Glover.

During caucus crunch time, Glover came to stump for John Edwards (remember him? The man from Reckless, N.C.?). Edwards' much beloved press aide here, Adam Bozzi, demanded we cover Glover, who was walking a neighborhood or something. Danny Glover? He was a great moderating influence on the sociopathic cop played by Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon I, II, III, IV, V (?). He was also phenomenal in the infomercial for Winsor Pilates.

Anyway, a colleague (actually, it may have been two) told Bozzi that no, we didn't much care and wouldn't be covering him.

So he threatened to go to our editors with this dangerous abrogation of our duties. Our editor laughed at him. And that was that.

Well, Glover's back.

From a press release:
