Sen. Ensign's National Republican Senatorial Committee goes up in Minnesota with an ad to support Sen. Norm Coleman, who's running against Al Franken. They trot out some totally b-list celebs.

This democratic party, especially in Congress, has some HORRIBLE ideas ahead for you, and Obama is just going to be their mouthpiece. Why else do you think an unknown senator could get the nomination?
They are going to censor Radio and Television with the "Fairness Doctrine" - they are going to RAISE TAXES (don't believe Obama, his party will not let him do it - Dem. Barney Frank (House Banking Com) has already said we need 25% higher taxes).
Mark my words - elect Obama and you will be saying "what have we done?" in 6 months - just as Biden warned us. During this economic crisis we need policies that promote business and jobs, not penalize them. And it is NOT about giveaways for the "rich". It is about stabilizing our economy and not falling for class warfare where "the rich" have to support people who do not work.
I agree with the above poster. Pelosi (and our own Harry Reid) and Barack Obama will be like a tidal wave of government intrusion and high taxes and many things we never thought possible in America. I have been very troubled by the strong arm tactics used by Obama's ACORN organization all over the country. They are probably going to deliver a million illegal votes for him and he has promised them a place at the policy making table. These are very scary people.
I've also been troubled by the way the Obama campaign went after Joe the Plumber. They got into his personal records, publicized all sorts of confidential information about him and just behaved in a thug like un-American manner. The man did nothing but ask Obama a question. Truly frightening.
Sometimes the pot calls the kettle black as in the above posts. This should be an area to discuss facts and not made up stuff like calling ACORN Obama's organization. From what I understand the Leader McCain has been known to complement ACORN for its excellent work. And if anyone is going after Joe the Plumber it is the misrepresentations by the McPalin and Cain camp. For many years the left has been under severe attack by religionists on the right and by others who have the avowed purpose of destroying the two party system. In the words of a famous person, Rodney King, "Can't we get along?" Are these folks so devoid of real policies and genuine ideas that they have to engage in endless attacks? Hey, some of us get up in the morning and say - let's get along -- and others get up in the morning and say let's destroy those who have ideas different than ours. Think about it - get with it! Let's all make AMERICA work! It is for the people, by the people, etc., and its past experimentation has been with the purpose of allowing a variety of groups to get along and to have a place where they could worship as they saw fit and not as some would have them do!
And then McCain politicized the man. If anything blame McCain for using him as a billyclub against Obama. As a result of McCain pushing him down our throats, people were curious about who he is. Turns out that he works for a plumbing company, has no licence to be a plumber, is making average money, but then thinks he will be in the upper tax bracket. These are legitimate answers about the man. That and he's been in tax trouble already with a couple liens against him.
Republicans would have rolled out the same tactics had the shoe been on the other foot.
And btw, where's your source that Obama is going to introduce the Fairness Doctrine? Moreover, qualify how the Fairness Doctrine will be censorship. If anything it sounds like it would round out liberal media.
Oh how frightening! The dem's got ahold of ol' Joes tax records and also found out he had no plumbers license! My God, the audacity of any republican to be "frightened" by an Obama presidency after the gestapo practices and constitution trampling of the Bush administration? Please. A hack P.I. could find out more about Joe the not-so-much-a Plumber on the internet.
The Democrats should be giving money to Al Franken's opponent. Franken will embarrass not only the democrats but America. This is the only candidate crazier than Queen Pelosi.
It seems Al's detractors are the same people who voted for Bush. People with no apparent ability to tell a good leader from a bad one. Or even a horrible one!
How is Al scarier? Is it because he has half a brain? That he is a liberal, but that his criticism he grounds in truth?
While we're at it why don't the dems just give up period and let republicans rule the land. One party rule, that's worked in other countries right?

LOW-NO Income Zoners are ok, as long as you stay there, where you'll receive some free stuff.
MOVE-UP and you'll get taxed at almost 40% + state taxes, & SS.
With OB you are giving up your free rights to opportunity & achievement, with his tax plans.
AND, there will be NO turning back, once he is in!
SO.. don't vote away your rights to freedom. You will NOT be able to get them back for years & years, if NEVER!

Being called stupid by someone who would make a statement like the one above is a compliment. I honor your judgment and thank you for it.
Let me put it succinctly for you, ken. When you say "blacks are only voting for Obama because he is black" you reveal that all you can see about Obama is that he is black. You have no idea what other people see. You can only speak of what you see. When you point the finger at someone else and insist on your meaning for their actions, you have, in fact, revealed yourself.
Easy huh? Give it a try some time. You'll be a much happier person and not so afraid of people who are a different color than you.
