Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons has no plans to move to Washington, even if presumptive Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain wants him on the ticket.
According to a Club for Growth blog ,Gibbons attended a Republican Governor's Association event last Thursday in Texas.
"The five governors present were asked to raise their hands if they would refuse the vice presidential slot if offered to them. Three governors raised their hands: Rick Perry of Texas, Linda Lingle of Hawaii and Jim Gibbons of Nevada. Two did not: Sarah Palin of Alaska and Matt Blunt of Missouri."

That would be the joke of a life time - Gibbons as Vice President.
Wow, Jim really truned down that opportunity. I guess in the same spirit of modesty I'm going to let the Vatican know that I'm not interested in sainthood...even if they offer it to me...no really, I'm happy here...I mean it...don't offer it to me because I won't take it...I'm not kidding...honest...
