The co-producers of the annual Vegoose Music Festival confirmed today that the two-day show will not go on this year, as reported in the Las Vegas Sun on Tuesday.

Speaking on behalf of event production partners Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment, Ken Weinstein said the event will not take place in Las Vegas in 2008. He provided a prepared statement from the producers:"We've had a great time in Las Vegas, and we're still excited about Vegoose

and its future. We think it's a great event and the response of the fans

has been extremely positive. As with any of our events, we're always

looking for ways to improve the overall fan experience. One suggestion for

Vegoose has been to consider moving it to another time of year. We're

thinking about that, but no firm decisions have been made at this time."

The Halloween weekend event would have been the fourth year for the festival.
