Just another Sunday at the county jail

Metro police arrested 99 people on Sunday, a number that's neither dazzling nor meager. Here, just for fun, is a small overview of what Clark County's residents and guests got caught doing yesterday:

* 12 people were arrested for DUI's, all men, ages 18-62.

* 12 people were arrested for prostitution, all women, ages 18-49.

* 5 people were arrested for possession of cocaine, five people for possession of marijuana, one person for methamphetamine and two people for possession of an imitation controlled substance.

*There were 21 domestic violence arrests, 17 trespassing arrests, 10 burglary arrests, 4 pedestrians arrested for allegedly being on the highway (one was begging,) two child abuse or endangerment arrests, two cases of lewd conduct, one Jane Doe and one John Doe.

  1. Abigail. How about putting names with these arrests like they do in several other cities? These are meaningless statistics.

  2. Yes, we want names,
    Maybe the address too.
place of employment and ss number if you have it.
finally, if it's not too hard, the nearest realitive not living with the person

  4. 12 girls arrested for prostitution. 11 people arrested for drugs. I thught Las Vegas was Sin City.

  5. Sin City??? Lets remember this is just one night. Also, it is refered to as "Sin City" not just because of the crime and this is what police were called to... there is way more goin on!!!

  6. I fail to see the reason for most of these arrest..
