As part of this documentary project, the Sun invites readers to take part in an online conversation from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 22.

Participants in the discussion will include: Jackie Valley, who reported and wrote the series; Leila Navidi, photographer and videographer; Executive Editor Tom Gorman, lead editor; and Kyle Hansen, digital projects editor.

The conversation will be presented through LiveFyre, an online dialoging platform. In place of the standard lasvegassun.com reader comment box, there will be a LiveFyre dialog box.
