Dishon Lewis had touchdown runs of 4, 44 and 41 yards tonight for the Chaparral football team in a 40-0 win against host Valley.
Keimaria Cooley rushed and passed for a touchdown for the Cowboys, hooking with David Johnson for a 23-yard scoring strike. Fabian Williams added a short touchdown run.
It’s the third straight win for Chaparral, which opened the season with a pair of defeats.
“Those first two games we were trying to find our way on offense,” coach Don Willis said. “We are finding rhythm and getting better footing. We’ve looked better the last three weeks.”
