A reality-TV show offering a behind-the-scenes look at the Clark County Coroner’s Office debuts Wednesday.

The one-hour pilot for the program, “Postmortem in Vegas,” will feature past and current cases handled by the coroner’s office, according to a statement from the county.

The docudrama style show, produced by NorthSouth Productions, is expected to focus on techniques used to identify bodies.

The pilot episode is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. on the Lifetime Movie Network, Cox Cable channel 308 and Direct TV channel 253.

Additional episodes may air if the pilot is successful, according to the statement.

“This project gives the public the opportunity to see the great work the members of our organization do on behalf of families as they work through an extremely difficult time in their lives,” Coroner Michael Murphy said in the statement.
