Metro Police arrested Musu Zennah, 26, early Thursday morning in connection with drunken driving.

Metro Police arrested a 26-year-old woman on a count of DUI after a three-car crash critically injured another woman in the western valley.

Police said the crash happened at 11:31 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard.

The preliminary investigation indicates a 2002 BMW X5 driven by Musu Zennah was traveling east on Tropicana Avenue when it ran a red light at the intersection and hit a 2000 Toyota Camry, authorities said.

The Camry was headed north on Rainbow Boulevard and had been entering the intersection on a green light, police said.

The collision thrust the Camry over a raised median on Tropicana Avenue, causing it to hit the left rear of a third car, which was traveling west on Tropicana Avenue in a left turn lane, police said. The driver of that third car was not injured, police said.

The occupants of the Camry — Milka Ninkovic, 37, and Tatjana Vekic, 36 — were transported to University Medical Center with serious and critical injuries, respectively, police said.

Zennah suffered minor injuries.

Zennah was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a count of driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in substantial bodily harm, officials said.

Zennah was being held without bail, according to jail records. Her first court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
