Las Vegas Jewish Film Festival set for next month

Films about Jewish baseball players, Nazi propaganda and Beat poet Allen Ginsberg are just a few of the screenings taking place at the 10th annual Las Vegas Jewish Film Festival between Jan. 15 and 30.

Nevada’s longest-running film festival will feature 17 international narrative and documentary films around the Las Vegas Valley.

Filmmakers and special guests will moderate each film and lead a discussion with audience members after each screening. Although the films have Jewish thematic content, organizers say they are intended for everyone.

The Desert Space Foundation and the Jewish Family Service Agency produced the film festival, which will benefit the JFSA, a non-sectarian social service agency.
