she didn't seem very consistent...
According to a recent study by The Taxpayers Network, Nevada ranked 50 of 51 (including Washington, D.C.) in terms of state and local tax burden, landing just ahead of Alaska; New York had the second highest, after New Jersey.

Unemployment rates for May, 2010:
Nevada - 14%
New Jersey - 9.7%
New York - 8.3%
Alaska - 8.3%

If you examine the data above, you'd have to wonder where Nevada's low tax rates are getting us. Since we don't have a massive oil industry to tap, like Alaska, and we don't have incredibly diversified economies, like New York and New Jersey, maybe the reason we don't have enough jobs is the fact that we religiously avoid investing in our state, and smart business people figure they shouldn't, either.
Thank you Mr. Ralston for all you do in trying to open the public's eyes to the unethical candidates of 2010. The fact that there are so many people now who are in favor of social injustice, the deregulation of greedy, destructive corporations and the disregard for environment destruction that describe the republican party. I am so afraid that if they get control of congress that we, as a nation, are doomed.
