Im sorry to say. But, this guy has a reputation as prescribing anything you want. My friend is severely addicted to pain medication. She gets it from him. She gets huge dosages. Even though, he was aware of her being in hospital for almost overdosing, he did not reduced her prescription.

From our first consultation, Dr. Buckwalter struck me as a caring physician. Of thousands of patients, he may have attended to some people for different reasons did not benefit from his very personal patient meetings.
My experience with this doctor was a positive one. I was very overweight, 60 pounds+, and we, the doctor and me, plotted out a strategy to lose the unhealthy fat.
He monitored me on a schedule of exercise and a close diet, and to lose weight, no prescriptions were issued to me, just updating each other on diet and exercise kept me on track.
It took us a little Over A Year, about one pound of fat a week; which is a long time where most people give up, or yo-yo back to their previous over-weight.
As the result of my new healthly weight and physical state, I was able to reduce/ phase-out my anti-cholesterol pills and cut my high-blood pressure pills by a half.
Dr. Buckwalter was a good attending physician, and while there may be some high profile bad cases, my experience working with him and following his recommendations was a positive, professional experience.

Who knew that garnering obscene profits would, sometimes, require one to be forced to answer the questions posed by the pesky, know-nothing, representatives of the legal and medical establishments?
