The Henderson Police Dept. held a press conference Feb. 21 to address various news reports surrounding the shooting death of 42 year-old Deshira Selimaj. The press conference offered a different account of the scene than that of eyewitnesses, and the report also presented contradicting facts from what the department released the day of the shooting.

Yes,God must have been there. He knows the facts with his great wisdom.
Lets not worry about facts, we have the word of the great poster God to tell us what we should believe. All little sheep shall follow.
Hey God,
Since you have so much disdain for police I recommend this. You should call whichever jurisdiction you are in and tell them this. "Hi I am ---- and I live at -----, please disregard any call for service or help I make to you as I feel the police are all trigger happy murderers. If I ever need help I will deal with it myself because I don't need your help. You would probably mess things up anyway." I would gain a little respect for you if you did this. But knowing that you are all talk and a moron, you won't.
vegaslee and brygy, so when a cop rapes your wife shoud we tell you to never call the cops when your house is broken into? When a firefighter cheats you on eBay you gonna stand there and watch your house burn?
Are you all mentally retarded?
I just hope the media and the public stays interested in this enough so it doesn't get swept under the carpet like other questionable police shootings.
It's a shame this didn't get the national coverage it deserves. Screw the statement "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". We've seen this type of slaying happen one too many times in this valley and it's time the entire country know about it.
But politics rules as we all know and we wouldn't want people to know the truth, because it might sway their decision to visit and lose their money here. The media is bowing down to the politics of the valley by not making this national news also.
Please voice your concerns and watch the inquest which will be televised on April 10 and April 11.
I'm praying that the right thing may finally be done. Changes are desperately needed.
This is clearly a Police coverup of a fatal mistake. Obviously, reality insists that the mother was NOT holding a knife to her children's throat, the mother may have been distressed but in no way did she attact a police officer who's only resort was to kill her. This is a story of murder in the 1st degree. The 23 year old officer Luke Morrison is not ready to take on the responsibility of using a gun in public.
How blotched can a minor incident become? Why hasn't the Sun Newspaper interviewed the witnesses and put them on video? How can police authorities expect us to believe such extreme lies and how can Morrison live with himself? The truth should have been told from the start and Morrison should face up to the consequences. The public should not allow this.
