Newly engaged reality TV star Kim Kardashian celebrated her 33rd birthday Friday night at Tao in the Venetian surrounded by family, friends and fiance Kanye West, whose recent gifts to Kardashian include a 15-carat, $1 million diamond engagement ring.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, mom Kris Jenner, sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian Odom and Kourtney’s baby daddy Scott Disick attended West’s concert at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday night before making their way to the Venetian hotspot.
The group walked the red carpet for fans and media, and rapper Tyga and his girlfriend Blac Chyna, “Glee” actress Naya Rivera, friends Jonathan Cheban and Simon Houck and Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin joined them.
Kardashian, new mom to daughter North West, donned a white top, a white skirt and ample bosom and shared that she had purchased the outfit in Paris while she was very pregnant and was excited that she had gotten her pre-baby body back so that she could wear it on her birthday.
“I feel amazing. It is such a good feeling — just a dream come true,” she said when congratulated on her engagement to West.
The group made their way into Tao, partygoers cheered and costumed dancers lined the catwalk behind a row of VIP tables on the dance floor. The party got underway as 33 bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne were delivered, along with a cake from Gimme Some Sugar topped with a sugar replica of the engagement ring and a compass displaying the initials of North West.
Tao’s bottle fairy flew through the air above as confetti rained down and everyone toasted to the birthday girl. As the night continued, Kardashian watched a montage of photos flashing on the screen above the DJ booth from her previous appearances at Tao.
DJ Five kept the party going, dropping West and Tyga’s club anthems, which had everyone dancing and singing. Tyga later got on the mic to entertain, and Kardashian grabbed the mic to shout out to revelers. Comedian and actor Chris Rock joined the table later in the night.
Also at Tao: Venetian headliner and country star Faith Hill, who took over a skybox overlooking the club with girlfriends. Hill, who returned to the Venetian over the weekend with “Soul2Soul” with husband Tim McGraw, danced with glow sticks and partied the night away.
Jenner, who recently confirmed her split with Bruce Jenner after 21 years of marriage, made an appearance at Kardashian Khaos on Saturday. Noticeably absent: Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian Odom’s husband. The couple has been reportedly on the rocks in recent months. And where was Rob Kardashian Jr.?

In the spirit of Venice, The Venetian is a little piece of romantic Italy right here in Las Vegas. The Venetian is an "all-suite" hotel, with rooms accented with plush linens and Italian marble. The 4,027 suites are divided into two towers: The 36-story Venetian Tower that offers guests a taste of luxurious Las Vegas and the Venezia suites, which guarantee 12 floors of high-end elegance. The top five floors are the hotel's highest level of luxury with its private access, concierge lounge, upgraded features and even a dedicated staff.
The flagship of Venetian nightlife is TAO, an ultra-hip nightclub located inside of TAO Asian Bistro. V Bar is The Venetian's super smooth ultra lounge, made by the owners of New York City's club Lotus and Los Angeles' super swank Sunset Room.
The Venetian features 19 restaurants including Thomas Keller's award-winning French restaurant Bouchon, Mario Batali's B&B Ristorante, Aquaknox for fresh seafood and the 42,000 square foot TAO Asian Bistro. There's also the food court inside the Canal Shoppes for those looking for a quick bite.
Guests can float along The Grand Canal Shops in an authentic Italian gondola ride and pass stores like Burberry and Kenneth Cole along the way. And if you haven't caught a real celeb, on the street in Vegas, you can head over to Madame Tussauds to check out a wax version.
