Talk about fish out of water. Talk about “Pretty Girls in Dirty Jobs.” Talk about seriously beautiful people in seriously undesirable spots. The eight gorgeous models who flew to Mandalay Bay to win an audition as “The New Face “ never expected to become “Model Employee” reality TV series cast members.
Instead of gorgeous gowns, it is uniforms to clear a banquet ballroom of leftover dinners. I assure you that there’s no champagne and caviar time in this lifestyle. Instead of parading on high heels, it was in the Dumpster to sort out recycling.
It’s all captured, including their tears and tantrums, on the new VH1 series premiering tonight — and it’s definitely worth watching as they really go into the shark tank and feed the fish at the Shark Reef Aquarium.
One of the judges in all eight episodes is former Mandalay marketing executive Patrick Miller, who has just become the new GM of sister casino resort Monte Carlo. Glamorous supermodel Chrissy Teigen, who has been seen regularly here with fiance John Legend, hosts “Model Employee.”
