It was a jam-packed party Friday afternoon at Wet Republic in MGM Grand, as DJs Steve Aoki, R3hab and Nervo led the soiree for daytime revelers, and the crowd included “American Pie” and “Van Wilder” actress Tara Reid and new boyfriend musician Erez Eisen.
Reid took a cue from the Aoki handbook and surfed the crowd aboard an inflatable raft. Australian duo Nervo kicked off the afternoon about 2 p.m., while Dim Mak’s Aoki took over a few hours later spinning, spraying fans with champagne, handing out T-shirts, throwing cakes to, you know, cake his fans, and choosing a few poolgoers to crowd surf in his raft.
Later in the afternoon, Dutch DJ R3hab made an appearance in the DJ booth and got on the mic to address the crowd. Aoki and R3hab are resident DJs at Wet Republic and nearby sister hotspot Hakkasan Las Vegas. Reid and Eisen posed for photographs, doused partygoers with bubbly and danced into the early hours of the evening. The couple also dined at STK in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas while in town.
