Country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have become regulars at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT steakhouse in the Palazzo when here for their weekend concert run, so it’s natural that fellow singers are following in their footsteps. Reba McEntire dined there over the weekend and enjoyed tuna tartare sandwiches, lettuce and Brussels sprouts and banana cream pie before the show and then popped backstage afterward.
TV personality and magazine publisher Martha Stewart was at the Wynn for her niece’s wedding over the weekend. She attended the celebration dinner at Andrea’s in Steve Wynn’s adjoining Encore and watched “Le Reve -- The Dream,” meeting cast members pre-show.
DJ Pauly D started his new residency at Haze in Aria over the weekend with his “The Pauly D Project” co-stars Ryan Labbe and Jason “J Roc” Craig. He played the wheels of steel for more than three hours and was joined by singer Jay Sean, who came onstage to sing new single “Back to Love,” “Glee’s” Chord Overstreet, Chuy Bravo, DJ Paul (Three 6 Mafia) and rapper Tyga (who performed at the 2013 AVN Awards at The Joint on Saturday).
Mike Tyson was at Pearl at the Palms for comedian Mike Epps’ show; both star in “The Hangover, Part 3.” Mike, who went backstage post-show, is set to play comedy legend Richard Pryor in an upcoming film.
Las Vegas-headquartered “Danny “The Count” Koker from Count Kustoms was at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and was spotted by contributing videographer Christopher Rauschnot of 24kMedia on Twitter taking photos with fans and checking out the 2014 Corvette Stingray.
Mom-to-be Holly Madison treated friends to dinner at her weekend hangout Carla Pellegrino’s Meatball Spot in Town Square; Holly enjoyed chicken meatballs, pizza and the Make-a-Wish milkshake.
“Divas Las Vegas” star Frank Marino dined with Caesars Entertainment VP Jason Gastwirth at Panevino and was surprised with a portrait of himself in his “Divas” persona by Mark Lopez, Panevino’s assistant GM; it was hand-painted on a plate using colored syrups.
Comedian Gabriel Iglesias was at BLT Burger in The Mirage signing autographs and meeting with fans. He created his own burger, the Fluffy Burger, with two patties, jalapeno jack cheese, a fried egg, Tabasco, onions and BLT sauce.
“Texas Chainsaw 3D” actor Dan Yeager (Leatherface) hosted a party for the horror film at Eli Roth’s Goretorium. After the screening, he took a midnight tour through the year-round horror attraction and soothed his nerves until 2 a.m. with cognac and cigars in Baby Dolls Lounge.
Rapper Mac Miller celebrated his 21st birthday at Tao in The Venetian and was presented with a birthday cake held by cocktail servers with glow sticks as his song “Loud” played.
Jonathan Martin of the Miami Dolphins was with friends in Tao’s Opium Room. Jamaican singer Sean Paul, who dined at Tao the previous night, returned for dinner the next night at sister restaurant Lavo in the Palazzo.
Meantime, Tao and its sister hotspot Marquee took over the 2013 Sundance Festival with nightly pop-up nightclub weekend parties. Paris Hilton, Danny Masterson, Chris Masterson, Jesse Williams, Mekhi Phifer, Lil Jon, “The Bachelorette’s” Jeff Holm, Ben Foster and more celebrated the kick-off.
Paris was wrapped in the arms of her boyfriend, 21-year-old Spanish model River Viiperi, and never strayed far from his side. Brothers Danny and Chris partied in the DJ booth with DJ Vice and Lil Jon, who joined later for Patron shots.
The party crush continued the second night with Lil Jon, Danny, Adrian Grenier, Mamie Gummer, Nas (who performed), Jesse Williams, Kevin Huvane, Gabby Hoffman, Karina Smirnoff, Troian Bellisario, Patrick Adams, Michael B. Jordan, Stephanie Pratt, Ben Lyons, Jason Kennedy, Sal Masekela, Scooter Braun and Geyer Kosinski. The parties wrapped tonight.
