UFC fighter Chris Weidman, who retained his middleweight title Saturday night by defeating Anderson Silva in a memorable fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena, celebrated afterward at Surrender in Steve Wynn’s Encore.

Weidman also partied at Surrender on July 6 after he delivered Silva’s first loss with a TKO to win the title. After his bone-breaking win Saturday night, Weidman tweeted, “On my way to @surrendervegas. It’s my new #Wynning tradition.”

Arriving at Surrender at 1:30 a.m. today after his press conference, Weidman entered the club with minor bruises on his face but was all smiles with his entourage of nearly two dozen. Partygoers went wild as he was introduced, and his name went up on the LED walls throughout the nightclub.

Surrender’s cocktails servers and go-go dancers also welcomed the champion with a confetti blast. Weidman’s group grew to more than 60 and overran a dance-floor table, where Weidman happily posed for photographs with his team and fans during the evening.

The large group moved to the sounds of Morgan Page and vocalist Skylar Grey and enjoyed magnums of Absolut Elyx, Grey Goose and a lot of champagne. At 2 a.m., an exuberant Weidman sprayed the crowd and himself with a magnum of Dom Perignon Luminous after being cheered on by the nighttime revelers.

The celebration continued until 4:30 a.m. Thanks to Aaron Garcia for his photo gallery.
