Porn starlet Kendall Karson has been on a fast track since entering the adult entertainment industry in 2011 — and the one-time fashion model, born and raised in a conservative Christian home, has amassed a slew of XXX credits.

“I never considered being an adult entertainer while modeling or pursuing a mainstream career. Prior to this life, I was a college-educated dental assistant, a nationally certified pharmacy technician and CEO of my own gourmet cupcake company," she said while visiting the Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo at Mandalay Bay last week.

Kendall, a former wireless and mobility information manager for one of the largest energy companies in the United States, added: “The men’s club expo was a major steppingstone for me because, from the beginning, one of my most important goals within the industry was to feature dance on the international dance circuit.

“These days, revenue from adult DVDs and other features is dropping, so I will make the most of my money on the dance circuit. It’s one of the last forms of the industry that cannot be downloaded or illegally copied.”

Kendall has already won multiple awards — 2013 AVN Best New Starlet, 2013 Exotic Dancer Awards Adult Movie Feature Entertainer of the Year, 2013 Sex Awards Porn Star of the Year, Sexiest Adult Star and Porn’s Best Body. Originally from Sacramento, the 32D-25-37 brunette bombshell has starred in more than 45 DVD box covers, features and parodies.

As winner of the Dancer Awards movie feature entertainer, she was the ideal guide to the Las Vegas convention and its behind-the-scenes business and parties: "The exotic dancer show provides me both an introduction and education on the next step of my life. It allows me to meet club owners face-to-face, network deep inside the entire dance industry. Whether it’s looking at new designs for various merchandise for my official online store, taking notes at the panel discussions or simply watching the numerous headlining acts, every aspect makes me a better entertainer.

“For those of you who think this all spotlights, flashbulbs and screaming fans, consider my schedule: I had auditions and radio commitments in Los Angeles that wrapped at 1:30 a.m., spent the next three hours printing freshly updated promotional materials for Vegas, jumped into my car and drove the I-15 across the desert, checked into my hotel room, showered, straight into makeup, on to two separate panels, the keynote speech by Stephen Hirsch of Vivid, meet-and-greets, several interviews, a quick dinner, then the opening night party at the Hustler Club.

“I spent the next seven hours networking because most of our actual business takes place like that instead of on the actual convention floor. I got back to my hotel at 6 a.m. for three hours sleep. After showering and makeup, there were meetings all morning, another noon keynote speech and then on to the convention floor for five hours of meetings with owners of every major chain of clubs — Rick’s, Sapphire, Deja Vu, Hustler, Spearmint Rhino. I grabbed a quick lunch at Starbucks and then met with reality star Farrah Abraham to discuss possible projects.

“The red carpet for the awards left little time, except for coffee and a wardrobe change, to go down to the House of Blues for the show. I walked the carpet, enjoyed the actual show, hit the after-party to congratulate the winners — and in true Hollywood fashion, work opened up back there for the next day. So after a quick shower, still more coffee, I jumped back in my car and drove through the night back to Los Angeles for a 10 a.m. call time. I was there by 7:30 a.m. so had enough time to feed my cat, switch out bags and go straight to location.

“After that filming, I drove down to make my first appearance at the legendary Glamourcon show with dozens of Playboy Playmates over the past five decades at the Hilton in Long Beach.

“This is a very important milestone for my career,” Kendall said. “My fans have been so supportive of me and helped me to get to where I am today. A lot of the items featured are very unique and showcase my journey in the adult industry so far — and there’s a lot more to come in the future.”
