Roger Daltrey at Fremont Street Experience
Legendary rock star Roger Daltrey of The Who was at Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas today to receive a $5,000 check for the charity Teen Cancer America he started with music partner and Who band mate Pete Townshend.
The donation on the 3rd Street Stage was made by FSE President Jeff Victor, who announced that the giant LED screens over the pedestrian street will display a Who concert collaboration.
The new, 3D Viva Vision Show, titled “The Who: Miles Over Vegas,” will feature three songs by The Who: “Pinball Wizard,” “I Can See for Miles” and “My Generation.” The seven-minute show is a three-year deal and is scheduled to begin in the fall.
