Hey, hey, they’re The Monkees: Mickey Dolenz (in black), Peter Tork (in maroon) and Michael Nesmith (in white) brought their A Midnightsummer’s Night With the Monkees to Grand Events Center at Green Valley Ranch on Saturday night for a trip down memory lane.

The band, who were formed in 1965 for a U.S. TV show, recorded numerous hits over the years, including “Daydream Believer,” “Last Train to Clarksville,” “I’m a Believer” and “(Theme From) The Monkees” and have sold more than 65 million albums.

The Monkees’ fourth band mate, singer Davy Jones, died at age 66 on Feb. 29, 2012. Thanks to Scott Harrison of Retna for his photo gallery of the music legends.
