Marie Osmond performs her 500th show with brother Donny at the Flamingo on Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

My friends Flamingo headliner Marie Osmond and Suzanne Somers are both celebrating new TV shows. Congratulations are in order for Suzanne, who goes first with her debut season at 7 a.m. each weekday on Lifetime starting Wednesday. Suzanne tackles health and food topics so that viewers shed toxins and fat, stay healthy and remain sexy forever.

Marie’s series on Hallmark titled “Marie” premieres next Monday at noon daily. The premiere includes Betty White and follows Tuesday with Fran Drescher.

Actor Dennis Quaid makes his debut on series television playing our legendary former Sheriff Ralph Lamb in the new drama “Vegas” starting tonight on CBS. The lawman battled 1960s mobsters trying to take over Strip casinos.

Executive producer Nicholas Pileggi (“Goodfellas,” “Casino”) said: “This was the most exciting period of Vegas history, the formative years. A period not seen on TV before when the FBI and Robert Kennedy were going after Jimmy Hoffa, and Howard Hughes moved to town to start buying casinos.”

The cast also includes Jason O’Mara, Taylor Handley, Michael Chiklis and Sarah Jones.

OLYMPIC SECRET: Olympic volleyball champion Kerri Walsh Jennings walked away with gold this summer in London and the applause of her Las Vegas hubby Casey Jennings and their two sons Joey, 3, and Sundance, 2, but she kept secret that she was pregnant.

This week, she told my pal Matt Lauer: “When I was throwing my body around fearlessly and going for gold for our country, I was pregnant. And today, I’m 11 weeks pregnant and feeling pregnant. I felt like it would take me a while this time to get pregnant.” She said they tried for a new baby shortly before traveling to London.

PROUD PAPA: Almost daily, you see the name of contributing photographer Tom Donoghue on our Vegas DeLuxe pages. His son, Marine Sgt. Eddie Donoghue from Henderson, made Monday night’s “NBC Nightly News” in a live broadcast from Afghanistan, where he is serving. Eddie was filmed briefing a patrol, digging for IED explosives and reviewing a ditch for a checkpoint set up.

Needless to say, Tom is one very proud papa of his son’s achievements, but admits that he prays nightly for his safety and return home. Eddie is already set with a date with the next Miss America: After she’s crowned here at Planet Hollywood in January, he’ll escort her in dress uniform to the Super Bowl to be played in New Orleans.

PORN STAR’S WORLD PREMIERE: Charlie Sheen’s former porn star “goddess” Bree Olson is the manager of the first punk rock group made up of other preening porn princesses. Their exploits have been turned into a controversial new movie, “Tight,” which has its world premiere here Oct. 4. Call it a “rock mockumentary” because it is a no-holds-barred, raw portrait of four fiery adult performers rocking on the road.

The stars are Bree, Layla Labelle, Tuesday Cross, Alicia Andrews and Monica Mayhem, who has been let go and replaced by Kelley Jean. All five will be here for the kickoff of the Las Vegas Cinefest Festival at the Palms on Oct. 4. The DVD goes on sale today, and the girls resume their tour after the festival.

GRAND FINALE: Sebastian Bach of Skid Row fame will be the rock star to beat tonight at the grand finale of Are You Smarter Than a Rock Star? at KISS by Monster Mini Golf opposite the Hard Rock Hotel. He’ll be in the hot seat as competitors battle it out for the grand prize -- three days to jam at Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp at MGM Grand with Sebastian and KISS founder Gene Simmons.

STAR SURVEILLANCE

Singer Trisha Yearwood browsed the farmers market at Tivoli Village for a photo shoot with a national magazine while hubby Garth Brooks stayed in their suite at the Wynn.

Singer Taylor Swift dined at Serendipity3 at Caesars Palace, enjoying a foot-long hot dog and a classic cookie sundae with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream and assorted cookies.

TONIGHT’S TIPS

You’ll be torn to stay home and decide between the first elimination show of the new 15th all-star season of “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC or the premiere of CBS’ “Vegas.”

If you do venture out, you’ve got comedians Dat Phan and Graham Elwood headlining at Harrah’s Improv through Sunday.

And the Animal Collective is at House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, Hey Champ at Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel and the D.R.E.A.M. Brigade at Beauty Bar.

TOMORROW’S TEASE

An extraordinary candid interview with MGM Grand headliner magician David Copperfield by my friend Magic Magazine Publisher Stan Allen, a preview of “America’s Got Talent Live” opening here and photos of tonight’s first elimination on “DWTS.”
