New York-New York has decked the Broadway Theater’s halls as it welcomes the first-ever, family-friendly holiday show “Christmas in New York.” The limited-time holiday engagement premiered Tuesday night and continues through Jan. 1 nightly at 7 and selected afternoons at 4 p.m. (dark Mondays).
“The holidays are quite magical everywhere, and we are thrilled to be bringing a fabulous Christmas show to Las Vegas,” says executive producer David King. “This production is perfect for the entire family.
“Featuring the season’s most famous songs, the delightful and enchanting production includes glittering holiday costumes, the highest-kicking chorus girls this side of the North Pole and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus.”
Audiences will be treated to joyful renditions of favorite holiday hits including “White Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Jingle Bells,” “Deck the Halls” and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” among other merry Broadway songs that transport audiences to the heart of the city that never sleeps.
Meantime, a condensed performance of “Christmas in New York” takes place Thursday at 10 a.m. at Opportunity Village’s Engelstad Campus at 6050 S. Buffalo Drive. Our thanks to contributing photographer Tom Donoghue for his festive photo gallery of “Christmas in New York.”
