Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls
Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls
Rock and roll wild man Vince Neil sees “a dream come true” in 48 hours when he has the soft opening of his strip club Vince Neil’s Girls, Girls, Girls on Friday. “I think the strip club, of all the business adventures I’ve invested in, this will be my favorite,” Las Vegas resident and Motley Crue frontman Vince told me.
“I love the tequila business, I love the restaurants and the nightclub stuff, but I’ve always wanted to have a strip club. It’s … a dream come true. I’ve been going to strip clubs my whole life, so I might as well own one. Most people are going, ‘Why didn’t you do this years ago?’
“Here’s the funny thing: 2007 was the 20th anniversary of ‘Girls, Girls, Girls,’ and Motley was inducted into the Stripper Hall of Fame. ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ is now the biggest strip club anthem ever. So you just knew this was something that eventually was going to happen.”
Vince says he has big plans for a grand opening in 30 days but wants to be there for Friday’s soft opening of Girls, Girls, Girls opposite the Orleans in the former space of Deja Vu.
“All the stuff that we want to do in the interior of the place with a lot of the decorations and other things just aren’t quite ready yet. We already have 130 reservations for Friday night, so it’s still going to be packed. But it’s going to take us a few weeks to get it exactly the way we want it to look inside. Within 30 days, we’ll have the grand opening, but Friday night, it’s going to start out with a bang -- as a vision of Girls, Girls, Girls.
“We’ve done a couple casting calls. We’ve got a lot of girls coming in and flying in. They have to have the right look; they have to be kind of rocker chicks … that’s what I’m looking for. It’s going to be the only place in town where you can listen to rock music, have a cocktail and look at boobs. I have a new place to hang out!”
And the definition of a rocker chick? “Most clubs make you cover up your tattoos, but I encourage it … the typical tattoos, big boobs, big hair, just super sexy. That’s what we’re looking for,” Vince says. “We’ve found several of those already!”
His club will be open from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. He says: “As long as people are there, people will be dancing. We are never going to kick anybody out, that’s for sure.
“This is going to be the first of many of them around the country. In the next two years, we’ll have at least two more clubs open, hopefully more, and I’m looking for club spots right now, in New Orleans and elsewhere where I tour. It’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s not just going to be here in Vegas.
“I promise you it will be different. There may be 19 or 20 strip clubs in Vegas, but we’re the only one that is going to be rock-and-roll themed. No house music, no rap or anything like that. It will be pure rock and roll. It’s just going to be a lot of fun, a cool experience.”
Vince also told me that he will be back on tour twice this year with Motley Crue, first in Europe with Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars, then co-headlining with KISS from July through September on a massive U.S. tour. Expect the official announcement from L.A. next week, but you’re reading it here first!
“It’s going to be really cool because KISS is bringing their full stage show, and Motley will be bringing our full stage show, so you are going to see two huge headliners at the same time. It’s going to be one of the biggest tours of the summer, if not the biggest.”
Motley’s solo June tour starts in Moscow; Vince says the group has hundreds of thousands of fans in Russia. “I’m really looking forward to being there. It’s going to be a great summer, and now every time I get back home to Vegas between shows, I’ll have my own strip club to hang out in -- it’s all perfect!”
