Before the weekend begins, it’s time for a few …

WICKED WHISPERS & RACY RUMORS

There’s buzz about an alleged romance between a Strip headliner beauty and the husband of the married couple who work together in her show. The romance will be denied, but there’s no question that they have become closerthanthis after her split from her monied boyfriend.

Are two Strip hotels planning to shake up and shakeout some of their underperforming restaurants?

Which restaurant and nightclub group has ambitious plans for two new venues on the Strip to expand its already powerful footprint?

I’ve reported several times as far back as last fall that chef Gordon Ramsay will open a second venue on the Strip, and reports seem to confirm a gastropub decorated with British beer kegs and London red telephone booths at Caesars Palace. Gordon has told me it’s the red, white and blue-striped venture he wants here. Despite reports Wednesday that it’s a done deal, officials at Caesars will not confirm when -- and if -- it will be announced. I’ve learned that there are serious hiccups over the lease-buyout clause.

What new Strip show has had to push back its opening for five days because of problems with its modern technology?

THAT VOICE: Rap royal Eminem asked me to re-create my old hit TV show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” as a spoof to introduce his Slaughterhouse single “My Life” featuring Cee Lo Green.

Released Wednesday, it’s already one of the summer’s hottest records. Eminem made a donation in lieu of payment to me to our Keep Memory Alive to benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. Watch it here on YouTube, but please bear in mind that the lyrics are explicit, with many uses of the F-word.

“Mindfreak” magician Criss Angel also made a generous donation to KMA when I recorded the voice tracks he’ll use in the new audience-participation gameshow contest being added to his headliner show “Believe” at the Luxor. I tried my best to be a cheesy 1980s announcer to describe the prizes.

DA VINCI’S VIP INVITE: It was a VIP celebration for “Da Vinci: the Genius -- an Inspirational Exhibition” at the Venetian with more than 200 guests. We posted Tuesday a preview tour of the 13 themed areas demonstrating the breadth of da Vinci’s ideas, innovations and full-scale interpretations of his concepts that formed the groundwork for several of today’s inventions, including the automobile, scuba diving suit, military tank, helicopter, ideal city, submarine and the first robotic humanoid.

Guests watched 3-D presentations of “The Last Supper,” “The Vitruvian Man” and “The Sforza Horse.” But the highlight was the exclusive tour by French scientific engineer Pascal Cotte in “The Secrets of Mona Lisa” gallery. In 2004, he was granted unprecedented access by the Louvre to take the most famous painting in the world out of her frame and conduct a study using a super-high-resolution camera. His research resulted in 25 secrets about the Mona Lisa and the only 360-dgree replica of the painting -- all on display in the Venetian exhibit.

KISS-TORICAL JACKET: Original KISS manager Bill Aucoin’s treasured and fabled yellow Dolce and Gabbana leather jacket has landed at KISS by Monster Mini Golf opposite the Hard Rock Hotel. This is the first time since Bill died in 2010 that an item has been released from his collection; the gallery acquired it after winning the “Aucoin Auction” to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

“We’re honored to share the memory of Bill Aucoin with all of the KISS fans. Our KISS Gallery is constantly growing, and we are very proud to be in possession of such an important item. This piece is truly a part of KISS-tory,” said golf founder Christina Vitagliano. The display includes the goat-skin jacket, a framed photo of Bill in the jacket with a KISS fan; his own KISS Alive All Access Badge; and a photo of Bill with Gene Simmons.

JACKPOT WINNER: Alaskan resident Linda Fleury popped a $20 bill into a Wheel of Fortune slot machine at the Hard Rock on Wednesday night and minutes later became a millionaire. “I sat there stunned,” she said as she walked away with $1,064,121. She says that she’s going to go on a New Zealand vacation with her son.

WORLDS COLLIDE: As I first rumored several weeks ago, it’s now official that Wealth TV will present televised championship boxing at the Pearl in the Palms, starting with “When Worlds Collide” with two-time champion Anthony Mundine and light-middleweight champ Bronco McKart.

Another fight on the July 14 card features Russia’s best light-heavyweight and WBO international champion Dmitry Sukhotsky fighting Cornelius “Da Beast” White. The heavyweight attraction is Olanrewaju “God’s Power” Durodola, tipped as a young Mike Tyson, from Nigeria against our hometown fighter Henry Namauu.

OUR CONDOLENCES: American art legend LeRoy Neiman, 91, died Wednesday at his New York home. LeRoy was well known on the Strip for painting our sports legends at epic boxing events and also sketching our headliners for his Playboy work. He’s seen here in this Las Vegas News Bureau photograph with Cher in September 1981 when she was performing at Caesars Palace. Our condolences to his family and friends he leaves behind.

PORN FOLLOW-UP: Turns out that former Skid Row rock star Phil Varone filmed his most recent adult sex flick “Swinging American Style” here in Las Vegas for Vivid. I told you Wednesday that he’d confessed to being a swinger for more than 20 years, and, now that he’s quit rock, he’s directing --and performing in -- his own swinger series for Vivid. Phil appeared with fellow adult stars Belladonna and Joanna Angel at Deja Vu Adult Emporium over the weekend.

TONIGHT’S TIPS

Reggae star Jimmy Cliff is poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Soundwaves concert series. Orny Adams is at Empire Comedy Club in the Paris through Saturday night. And Quinn Dahle is at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina Comedy Club for three nights.
