TUESDAY, JULY 3

Donny and Marie Osmond celebrate Independence Day with a special matinee show at 4 p.m. in addition to their 7:30 p.m. performance, and ticket prices for the holiday are discounted $25 for locals.

Singer and Songwriters Hall of Famer Don Mclean, the master of “American Pie,” performs at LVH.

UFC 148 combatants Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen hold a press conference with UFC President Dana White at Lagasse’s Stadium in the Palazzo. Fans can watch it live at YouTube.com/UFC.

Happy 1st Birthday to Siegfried & Roy’s dolphin calf K2 at their Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat in the Mirage.

Dat Phan, Tim Jones and Wendy Hammers headline at Harrah’s Improv through Sunday.

Brandon Kent hosts Fancy Sauce at Moon in the Palms.

Trumpet titan Dave Perrico and vocalist Naomi Mauro lead their 18-piece Pop Evolution at South Point with an early Fourth of July concert celebration.

For fireworks ahead of Wednesday, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s annual Night of Fire features famous monster truck Big Foot in its only Las Vegas appearance this year. NASCAR-sanctioned stock car racing, jet car burn, waterless boat races, chargers, bombers and legends will race in honor of Independence Day, followed by fireworks.

Franky Perez headlines North Las Vegas Jubilee with fireworks at James Seastrand Park.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 4

Happy Birthday, America!

Other firework shows are at Cashman Field with the Las Vegas 51s after their Tucson Padres game; Mission Hills Park in Henderson with the Randy Anderson Band and Henderson Symphony Orchestra; and the Primm Valley casino resorts at Buffalo Bill’s and Star of the Desert Arena.

The downtown Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health honors Independence Day by illuminating the Keep Memory Alive Event Center in red, white and blue.

Encore Beach Club at Steve Wynn’s Encore, Wet Republic at MGM Grand and Sway Pool at Silverton Casino Lodge host Fourth of July poolside barbecues.

The Boulder City Damboree Celebration starts with a pancake breakfast and includes a parade, midway booths, food, entertainment, games, contests and fireworks.

3 Doors Down performs a free concert downtown at Fremont Street Experience to kick off the inaugural UFC International Fight Week, where MMA fans have four days of pub crawls, pool parties and UFC Fan Expo leading up to Saturday’s Silva vs. Sonnen II at UFC 148.

Also Wednesday, UFC fighters teach MMA techniques at Ultimate Fighter Gym. The Octagon Nation Truck interactive fan exhibit is 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at FSE. And Octagon beauties and UFC fighters throw a barbecue pool party at Marquee Dayclub in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
