Three decades after beginning its iconic journey of debauchery and decadence, Motley Crue has confirmed plans to invade Las Vegas with the city’s first-ever hard rock residency: “Motley Crue in Sin City.” The group will perform an extended run Feb. 3-19 at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel, as first exclusively reported here at VegasDeLuxe.com last month.

“Motley Crue in Sin City” aims to leave the loud impression that what happens in Las Vegas will be heard around the world. Vocalist Vince Neil, guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee have big plans for the residency to create a never-been-done-before and interactive experience. Details about the show are being kept under wraps to keep an element of surprise for fans.

However, I can reveal that the band will be in the audience, and members of the audience will be onstage for parts of the interactive show. Also, Tommy plans at least two dancers performing stripper routines on his 360-degree revolving carousel. The engagement falls during a holiday-packed time in the year: Super Bowl Sunday, Valentine’s Day and President’s Day.

I'm also reliably told that Motley Crue's deal could be extended in bursts -- similar to the Carlos Santana engagement structure at the Hard Rock -- at other times during 2012. “It is a dream come true for me, especially living in and loving Las Vegas,” Vince said. “It will be crazy and wilder than anything we’ve done before -- out of control!”

Tommy added, “I don't know about you, but when I think of Motley Crue, I think of filthy sex, drugs, a really big show and way too much fun ... sounds like Las Vegas, doesn’t it? A match made in heaven!”

“We are very excited to announce our upcoming partnership with legendary rockers Motley Crue,” said Paul Davis, vice president of entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel. “The one-of-a-kind production will be the most unique, interactive, fan-driven concert experience the band has ever created. Motley Crue is a perfect fit for the Hard Rock, and we can’t wait for this unforgettable residency to begin.”

Bobby Reynolds, vice president of booking for AEG Live Las Vegas, said: “We’re thrilled that Motley Crue is creating their most notorious show ever and bringing it to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in notorious Las Vegas. This concert experience is going to represent what the fans love most about Motley Crue, the Hard Rock and Las Vegas: good times, rock ’n’ roll and a stage show like no one has ever seen before.”

Tickets, starting at $45, go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Hard Rock Box Office, Motley.com, TheJointLasVegas.com and Ticketmaster.com. Hard Rock also is offering VIP ticket and room packages at HardRockHotel.com. Concert dates are Feb. 3-5, 8, 10-12, 14-15 and 17-19.

Hailing from L.A., Motley Crue has accumulated worldwide album sales of more than 80 million, seven platinum or multiplatinum albums, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, six Top 20 pop singles, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, three Grammy nominations for Best Hard Rock Performance, a New York Times bestselling memoir and countless sold-out shows across the globe.
