Is it a new fashion trend? Admittedly, the weather here in the desert is heating up. Seems ultra-short minis are no longer de rigueur nightclub wear. Now it’s flashing more flesh with swimsuits, and gorgeous Fantasy headliner Angelica Bridges attracted an all-star turnout when she and her dancers hosted the Laguna Beach Jeans Co.’s swimwear fashion show at Eva Longoria Parker’s nightclub Eve in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter on Saturday night.

Angelica, of Baywatch and Playboy fame, and the cast of the adult revue Fantasy at the Luxor walked the red carpet in the 2011 designer swimwear collection modeling the season’s hottest new denim-inspired styles. Also enjoying the eye candy were actors Josh Henderson and David Gallagher from the upcoming CW series Betwixt, along with 2009 Miss USA finalists Laura Chukanov of Utah and Maria Montgomery of Kentucky and 2007 Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees.

The fabulous Fantasy felines stunned partygoers as they showcased 14 new swimwear styles by the celebrity-adored brand. Laguna Beach President Roy Perlmuter said the swimsuit designs were inspired by the success of its celebrity clientele that includes Britney Spears, David Beckham, Floyd Mayweather Jr., T.I., Beyonce, Kellan Lutz ,Karina Smirnoff and Eva herself. He said the collection fuses Hollywood’s hottest denim fashions with Orange County lifestyle and introduces the first-ever low-rise bikini as undoubtedly the next must-have trend for 2010.

The swimwear is produced in the United States and radiates glamour in limited-edition suits embellished with hand-sewn Swarovski crystals. The collection features coordinating beach essentials such as wraps, flip-flops and blanket-sized beach towels. Vivo Chaouat, top executive for Ed Hardy Clothing, has partnered with Laguna’s CEO for the powerhouse line. Only 3 years old, the Laguna Beach Jeans Co. brand is currently available in more than 500 boutiques nationwide.

After the rip-roaring runway reception, Angelica and her femme fatales mingled with swimsuit company executives and fans from one of Eve’s VIP booths, where they sipped Grey Goose cocktails and danced the night away.
