  1. Nobody does New Year's Eve like Las Vegas!!!

  2. Jose,

Disneyland has a great New Years eve party for families and kids.

Las Vegas is for the entertainment of adults.

Every city has a purpose and New Years in Vegas is not a kids event.

  3. @joselvnv- I haven't run across any child-friendly NYE activities but the party at Krave Nightclub is 18+, one of the only ones I have seen that allows folks under 21. Obviously not a place for young children, but the 18-20 crowd might like a place to dance and celebrate.

  4. Sheesh!! Yeah - what recession? But...let's see who is willing and able to actually PAY those prices (and that doesn't include the comps teh high rollers are getting to these events).

$5600???? Are you serious? For what? You can spend a week at a five star resort in the Caribbean for that kind of money - and that includes the same amenities the Cosmo is offering

  5. The Cosmopolitan is sold out for New Year's Eve, "det_munch." People are still, for the most part, allowed to spend their money how they like in America, and not everyone has your taste.

  6. Nope, not every room has the package. Not even a majority of the rooms. But the property is sold out.

The point was this: Who would waste $5600 on "a week at a five star resort in the Caribbean" when I can buy a sweet Alfa Romeo GTV6 for that kind of money?
