So you're going to flush another $500,000 down the toilet this year and $300,000 every year after because sex offenders leave prison and just disappear. And registering them before they leave prison is going to stop this??? Somebody (namely the taxpayers) needs to get their heads out of their butts and get a breath of reality. You're being taken to the cleaners people. Ask the DOC how many non-sex offenders disappear after leaving prison so they don't have to follow parole rules. This, like so many other sex offender laws accomplishes nothing, protects no one and wastes resources that could be used to help people. It's time the voters realize they are being fleeced. Just another law to give you that false sense of security.
