I work in a pharmacy that dispenses many meds prescribed by this doctor (and I use the term "doctor" loosely), we have tried reporting him to the board of pharmacy numerous times as well as refused to fill many prescriptions written by him. With the help of his nurse, we have learned that both his father and brother are attorneys for the board of pharmacy so therefore he is basically immune to lawsuit. What happened to this poor girl is terrible but unfortunately the only thing that can be done to stop this murderer of a doctor is to stop going to him. Tell your friends and family to never, ever go to this doctor, I have seen many of my patients go to him for simple neck pains and end up addicts. My condolences go out to the family of Stacy.

Northsider,
I agree with you 100%. This should have happened years ago. I am so very happy that his licence was suspended, but unfortunately it wasn't revoked. I hope to god that his license doesn't get re-instated. I work in a pharmacy where he sent many of his patients to and when I went in today and heard the news I was elated. I remember all the times that I spoke to "Dr" Buckwalter on the phone and he told me "I'm the doctor, you're the pharmacy. I write and you fill" Hopefully I will never hear those words ever again. I just wish it would have happened a LONG time ago, maybe your neice and the countless others that have suffered due to his negligence would still be here.
