This incident should bring in to light, only qualified anesthesia personnel should be allowed to administer one's anesthesia for any procedure, regardless if it is in a hospital or clinic. Would you want a stewardess flying the plane you are riding on? Of course not, so want accept anything less than a certifed anesthesia provider to adminsiter, oversee and protect the patient!
